On 14 February 2019, the Georgia Tech Career, Research, and Innovation Development Conference hosted a panel discussion that was broadcast live from the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Atlanta, GA, USA. This panel considered the effects of technological advancement on the future of work. What are the changing expectations of future workers? How can workers prepare for this future in terms of skills and tools? IACEE Embarks on an Outstanding Partnership in China On 1 February, IACEE held its Winter 2019 Executive Committee Meeting where Beijing Outstanding International Education Investment Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of China Chuanglian Education Financial Group Limited, signed a 5-year agreement with IACEE to work on the use of IACEE’s Quality Program for Professional and Continuing Education in China. The Outstanding group will be engaged in the initial market survey, customer discovery, service design related to Quality Program based training, self-assessment and assessment by third party, marketing, sales, customer service and operations management in the People’s Republic of China.

IACEE Council Representation at CIEC A number of IACEE Council Colleagues gathered in New Orleans, Louisiana (USA) to participate at the Conference for Industry and Education Collaboration (CIEC) 2019 from 29 January to 1 February. There were many presentations by the Council members who participated with their American Society for Engineering Education colleagues at various meetings. The following photographs were taken by Craig Gunn of Mississippi State University, unless otherwise mentioned. Craig has been taking photographs at CIEC for a long time. IACEE Council expresses its sincere gratitude to Craig for taking the images and letting us share with all of you.
