Well I'm batting 500 with Peter the inspector, as No. 461/800 NG & No. 640/800
Good.
I am now wondering if Peter is at fault, as the reason we've been giving says maybe
he is not as bad as we thought?

Look at all those older, skilled "watch makers" sitting at their work stations. I hope
they're not from the RESERVE crew.

Peter "inspected" my Speedway DD, which was delivered with the following issues:
1.) At 12 minutes after the hour mark (as measured by the minute hand), the hour
hand finally aligned with the selected hour.
2.) The minute hand would advance anywhere from 15 to 30 seconds, which was
visible without magnification, when the chronograph was started or stopped.
Confirmation was done by 4x magnification, however.
3.) The same issue, as noted in #2, was observed when the chronograph was reset,
although it was not as consistent.
The watch has been returned to ShopNBC for a refund. When the funds are put back
into my credit account, I'm going to call them for a return of the shipping costs--both
ways. (Its already been done by another WG.

I expected to see a bunch of 60+ year old men who are "experts" (meaning old,
memory fading, skills declining and vision gone), but in fact these are relatively young
individuals.

My silvertone (366/800) was inspected by Peter and everything appears to be
working properly, at least so far. However, I should note that he checked "N/A" in the
box next to "Chronograph Function!" Gee, I thought this was a chronograph, so I
guess one of us missed something!

As I look at the photograph a little more, doesn't it look
like the "Peter" name tag was just PhotoShopped in? Just
sayin'.

Actually, Peter has been around a very long time.
He started at 18, and his first job was installing clocks in . . .

Pete looks like he's losing some of his due to the mental duress he has suffered from
a few faulty inspections!

Yup, Peter checked NA on my #70/800 silver-tone "Chronograph Function" as well. So
far everything seems to be working perfectly though. Maybe it's best that Peter
doesn't know that it's a chronograph! Shhh, quiet, don't say anything to him.

Thank you for your dedication Peter!
Is it just me or does it look like Invicta just employs teenage girls for their watch
makers? That may explain a few thing about craftsmanship. Where are all the old
time watch makers who know what they are doing? Just a thought!
