I CAN’T FLY, BUT SWIMMING IS THE NEXT BEST THING... THE WATER IS MY SKY.

Water is life. It shapes us, it brings us together and it makes us alive. Swimming refreshesus as much as it makes us supremely fit. Introducing SmartPools Arena the world’s firstcompact pool that brings the power of flowing water in to your life with the benefit of its purity, life giving forces and therapeutic values. Get a SmartPool today and play, splash, jump, bond, party, swim, all at home.

SmartPools provides multiple verticals under the three broad technologies developed in our labs.

1. Pool Structure Technology

Shotcrete solution and the water proofing solution for conventional concrete pools.a)

b) Composite tile panels for conventional concrete pools.

c) Composite self supporting structure with patented sandwich technologies with stand large vertical and lateral pressure of of the swimming pool walls for a life time.

2. Filtration Technology

a) Micro-hybrid filtration technology eliminates the need for piping and complicated plumping design. The system designed by SmartPools is so advanced that instead of construction of elaborate pump room and forcing all the water using a single large pump.

b) Micro-hybrid filtration technology reduce the requirement for chlorine by up to 90% and in most cases keeps the water quality to drinking standard.

The Laminar Aqua Propulsion System originally developed by Ascenteus Research for the ambitious Amphibian car projectis designed to move massive quantities of water without the use of pumps and high pressure.

3. LAPS (Laminar Aqua Propulsion System)

This unique patented technology moves up to 30,000 liters of water per minute in a low pressure volumetric laminar flow pattern resulting in a fully adjustable, smooth and non- turbulent current. This allows a person to swim against the current just like in a river. This movement also helps the water to absorb atmospheric oxygen.

SMARTPOOLS

SmartPools™ is the world's leading specialist in revolutionary swimming pool products and solutions. Our constant effort is to innovate and invent, to create ideas that are practical, create change and transform the current. It is this spirit that helped us develop the world's finest Swimming Pool Technologies.

HEALTH, ADVENTURE, LUXURY

The SmartPools is the world’s first and only SmartPool that can generate real river like currents with variable speed, silently and smoothly. Its patented technology, Laminar Aqua Propulsion System (LAPS), is derived from our prestigious Amphibian Car project. It can move up to 30,000 liters of water per minute generating a continuous river like flow, that allows you to swim at the same spot against an adjustable current. This makes the SmartPools Arena unique and different from static pools or swim spas.

Powered by our patented technology- LAPS ( Laminar Aqua Propulsion System), Moves upto 30,000 liters of water per minute creating a VOLUMETRIC FLOW. Silent operation and variableflow make it unique in every aspect.

LAPS TECHNOLOGY

What is laminar flow?Laminar flow, sometimes known as streamline flow, occurs when a liquid flows in parallel layers, with no disruption between the layers. At low velocities the fluid tends to flow without lateral mixing and adjacent layers slide past one another like playing cards. In non-scientific terms laminar flow is ‘smooth’ while turbulent flow is ‘rough’.

The built in auto-filtration system keeps the water in the SmartPools fresh and pure 24x7. It makes sure that the pool is free from microbes, fungi or algae. Complemented by the UV C Ioniser that is designed to kill all pathogens in water there by ensuring that wateris fresh crystal-clear and hygienic. The advanced auto chlorinator uses just enough chlorine as required, reducing chemical usage by about 95%.

Water, especially moving water provides you with a fitness regime that is easy, fun and injury free. In fact, water streamlines and shapes your body in a way that no other fitness equipment ever can. Besides that, swimming is one of the best ways to stay fit. With the SmartPools Arena, you can adjust the wave generation to your convenience and swim against it. You can step intoyour pool whenever you want. No sweat, No muscle strain, A fitness regimen that is truly funfilled.

THE MAN WHO IS SWIMMING AGAINST THE STREAM KNOWS THE STRENGTH OF IT.

ARENA LUXURY

ARENA LUXURY PLUS

SMARTPOOLS ARENA TAKES A DAY TO INSTALL NEEDS LITTLE MAINTENANCE With just 3.5 feet depth, SmartPools Arena can be placed at any level depending on individual choice. It requires no civil works for installations above ground and only a concrete bed without any retainer walls for fully or partially in ground installations. The installation is guided by our experienced engineers. Equipped with an advanced auto filtration system it is designed to take care of itself and requires very little maintenance.

Swim speeds put into perspective!Rather than looking at the top .001% of swimmers at Olympic qualifying level, we have compared the speeds to the top level of adult competitive swimming over a middle distance. Here’s how they compare:Short Course Event: Mens 800m Freestyle Age Group: 25-29Swimmer: Greg ORPHANDIES Time: 8:13.81 Venue: SHEFFIELDDate: 24/10/03 = 1.62 m/s (metres per second)Short Course Event: Mens 800m Freestyle Age Group: 40-44Swimmer: Martyn PRICE Time: 8:56:09 Venue: ISLE OF WIGHTDate: 15/02/02 = 1.49 m/s (metres per second)Above are race times - training times are somewhere between 65% and 80% of race times therefore:SmartPool’s recommended training speed 1.60 m/s would be between 1m/s and 1.3m/s.SmartPool’s recommended training speed 1.50 m/s would be between 0.96 m/s and 1.1 m/s.

Procedures and Observations

2. The average standard deviation (SD) 0f the whole test was0.122. This low standard deviation indicates that the real time velocity samples(1 per second) tended to be very close to the average over a 30 second period. Therefore, there was a high quality of measurements over the sampling period indicating a low variability in the flow and that the probe was held steady during the measurement.

3. The minimum velocity requirement of 1.2m/s was reached at a motor speed of 600 RPM, however this velocity was more consistently seen at 650 RPM.

RSHydro certifies that the performance of the above listed flow technology has been certified using test equipment of known accuracy. This certificate confirms that the Laminar Aqua Propulsion System technology generates the minimum velocity requirement of 1.2 m/s at amotor speed of 600 RPM to a maximum of 1.72 m/s at a motor speed of 800 RPM.

Important Note

Although 800 RPM is obtainable sustained duration maybe limited to inverter tolerances on a domestic supply. Caution at this speed should also be advised if used by weak swimmers or children. Loss of water may also occur.

MALAYSIANINNOVATION

The DEWS system, available in various models catering for the needs of home & apartment swimming pools to professional Olympic sized pools.

The product, was awarded the Singapore Prime Minister's Office Enterprise Challenge Award for innovation and value creation.

Drowning Facts One child drowns every 45 seconds in Asia, during daylight hours with many swimming unsupervised. Toddlers aged 1-4 make up nearly one half of all child drowning's in Asia

DEWS is an automated video surveillance system that constantly monitors and analyze swimming activities to detect potential drowning incidents. It serves as an additional pair of eyes to improve water safety in the pools.

DEWS operates through a network of video cameras mounted high around the pool and strategically placed such that the entire swimming pool can be covered by the combined camera views. The video signals from these cameras are sent to computers that automatically track each swimmer in the pool and intelligently detect water crises situations. Based on a number of tested atributes that model the unique trait of a drowning victim, DEWS responds by alerting the relevant safety personnel if there is Any detection of early drowning.

SmartPools introduce DEWS. ZWEEC Analytics, a technology based company from Singapore along with The Institute for Infocom Research (a government of Singapore research organization) has developed an automated Drowning Early Warning System( DEWS) that tracks each swimmer in a swimming pool and intelligently detects swimmers who are in distress.
