Resolut ions. By Aid. Mayer: Resolved, tha t the

City Attorney be ordered to notify the Detroit United Railway Co., tha t all cars are expected to be stopped at 7th St., to t ake on or discharge pas-seng-ers, in accordance with the pro­visions of ita franchise with the City of Ann Arbor.

Adopted by the following vote: Yeas, Aid. Sugden, Mayer, Huss, Henderson, Donnelly, Markey, Hauser , McGregor, Freeman, Lutz, Sink, Pres . Reichert , 12. Nays, none.

Aid. Markey suggested t ha t ar­

rangements be made to procure wood for the citizens.

Moved by Aid. S nk, tha t the Mayor and three Aldermen be appointed a commit tee to investigate the mat ter . Adopted and chair appointed Mayor Wurster , Aid Sink, Markey and Huss as such commit tee.

Mr. Henry H. Wagoner informed Council t ha t he would s tar t collection of garbage under his contract on J a n u a r y 1st, 1918; and provided he •could procure fuel, he would begin December 24, 1917.
