Jennifer: Welcome, everyone, to Healing With The Masters. We are here with a wonderful guest
tonight. You guys are in for a huge treat. This is one of our regulars, in fact, on Healing With The Masters. We have a couple of them; the people that we invite back year after year because they’re just so rocket. Before we talk to our special guest tonight, I want to do my opening statement here, just reminding us. Masters, the word, has such meaning and multiple meanings for so many of us, and I want to remember that while we may think of masters as the wonderful guests that share their knowledge and experiences with us each week, I consider you to be the master, each of you in this audience, you the participant. Yeah, you. No one knows you better than you, and no one is more uniquely qualified to transform your life than you. Today we will together discover the tools and techniques to heal, to continue to shift your life into love and light and, in the process, truly make a difference on this beautiful planet. Together we are a truly powerful community. You matter. You can light up the world.
Whenever I say light up the world, I really always go straight to our guest and go, “Well,
there’s another one that’s lighting up the world. There’s another one.” Sonia Choquette is one of the brightest. She’s a world‐renowned vibrational alchemist. Isn’t that great, vibrational alchemist? It just feels so perfect. She’s an intuitive consultant and a powerful, spirited teacher. She’s most recognized for her ability to instantly change vibration, lift depression and connect others to their intuition. She helps people understand their soul’s plan and purpose and leads them to a successful, meaningful and peaceful life.
I want to just interject there and just ask people to start paying attention to what you’re
feeling now. Just knowing that Sonia is on the line, that vibration is actually there right now for you to use. It’s present even in this very moment and will be as she speaks to us over the next hour. So allow yourself to open your heart and feel into the vibration that is allowing you to lift everything up. Well, maybe some of the things don’t lift at a certain age, but certainly our vibrational frequency will lift.
She’s been liberating people all over the world for a while. She is a prolific writer. Her books
have sold over a million copies worldwide, including her New York Times bestseller The Answer is Simple…. Love Yourself, Lift Your Spirit. She’s very rich. She’s very real, very authentic. She’s quite funny and very direct and to the point. She’s going to show us exactly how to transform your life experiences from fear to joy and activating your intuition, awaken your spirit and live as the empowered beings that you are naturally designed to be. Welcome, Sonia Choquette, to Healing With The Masters. It’s great having you back again.

Sonia: Thank you, Jennifer, and to all who are listening, I’m excited to be back. It’s just fantastic. It’s great. I feel a really wonderful vibration. Don’t you?
Jennifer: Oh, gosh. It’s palpable. We’re in this very special and powerful year of 2012, and I’m curious
as to if you’re noticing something different and maybe how you’re playing with the energies that are here right now.
Sonia: Well, I’m asked a lot by my students as I teach about what — one of the funniest ways they ask
is, “What are we waiting for? I want to be sure not to miss it or want to be sure to avoid it. I can’t tell which.”
Jennifer: Did I get the ticket? Did I get the ticket? Sonia: Did I get it, or should I run away? I’m not sure which way to go, but I do feel that the
frequencies that 2012 usher in and are so exciting and especially relative to the work I do is that the veil is thinning between the consciousness of just our five senses and our physical reality, and we all are beginning to become sort of spontaneously more awakened to our divine nature. We are beginning to feel our intuition rather than simply believe in it. We’re beginning to feel our capacity to create rather than just cross our fingers and hope it works out.
Things are shifting, but at the same time, that does invite us to dismantle our old identity, our
old images that were more limited and less powerful. We are becoming, along with becoming more aware, we are more empowered than we think. We have to give up a lot that was very comfortable, and that is the finger pointing at others and ignoring the three pointing back at us. It’s a tumultuous time, because it’s a time of change, but I like to say, just like the butterfly feels as though it might be dying as it struggles to free itself from the cocoon, it is that same struggle that gives it the power to fly.
Many of us who have felt a lot of struggle, maybe are becoming more conscious of how our
dysfunctional relationships can’t continue and how our connection to things that really don’t serve us we can no longer sustain. So we are in truly a transformational time, but it’s a good thing, even though it might feel like rafting on white waters without a life jacket. We’re going to be okay.
Jennifer: So we’re white water rafting. Sonia: Yes, and it feels scary. Jennifer: And it’s scary, but we’re with some qualified people, I mean, energies. Sonia: Oh, goodness. I have to say, in my own lifetime, in the realm of my work, I have never felt
more loved, both from the higher realms and bursting open in us. It’s happening, and it is really exciting to witness and to register energetically this profound and actually kind of meteoric shift. A lot of changes are occurring both in the individual and also in the collective consciousness, and we just really need guidance in how to manage those changes in such a way that we benefit as quickly as possible.

Jennifer: I’m hearing the audience, and I’m kind of hearing — a couple of questions have come through. You were talking about the less powerful aspects of us, the kind of old ways of being, the old stories. What I’m hearing is some people are really, really kind of struggling with that. How do we dismantle that less powerful stuff? What do you tell people when they’re really in their story?
Sonia: Well, first of all, the first thing I invite people to do is ask themselves what the payoffs have
been, and not as a gotcha but just as an exploration. If we’re in our old story, there’s some aspect of it that we’ve at least come to believe and may have accurately worked for us in the past and maybe even up till more recently. Then the second question is, “Well, is it working for you?” I understand that it’s familiar and even comfortable, and change is a little bit intimidating, because we’re afraid the changes will be harsh and we’ll lose. So I just say ask for your pay‐offs. Just kind of look at your pay‐offs.
I’ll even give you an example. One of my old stories, that I took a great deal of pride in, is how
hard I worked. I would face an army, if I thought I could save a single soul, and would work nonstop, but in reality, that work pattern was not really the best work pattern for me. I ignored my body. I would often push myself way past what was good for me, and the payoff was I got to feel rather proud of my warrior self. Then this year, I had a profound surprise, in that I had an unexpected knee surgery. It was supposed to be two weeks, and it turned out to be three months of healing, on crutches, in wheelchairs. It was really challenging to that old story.
My old story served me to a point. It helped me get strong. It helped me build my ability to
deal with people who were not receptive and to face down people who were negative, but I don’t need it anymore. Those things are now strong enough in me that I don’t need to keep strengthening the metal in me, if you will, and so I can say thank you to the old story, recognize the past. It built a strong character in me. It built a fearless identity and commitment to my work, and now I can relax. I was forced to. So I feel like it’s important to validate your old story for how it has served you. Then ask is it still working for you.
Jennifer: I like that idea of validating the story. I don't know if it’s 2012, but I’ve been working like
lightning speed through multiple stories and layers I never even imagined. There’s this one story where I kind of bribe people to love me.
Sonia: That’s a very common female story, by the way. Jennifer: Is it? Sonia: Uh‐huh. Jennifer: And I didn’t even know I was doing it. Sonia: That we’re not enough on our own. Jennifer: I thought I was just being generous.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 5 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Sonia: I’ve shared that story with you, Jennifer. I have absolutely shared that story, and I think that is the last coughing breath of patriarchy that has really impressed that on especially women, but I know men who have also suffered that same, “You’re not good enough just to love, nor are you just loved. You have to do something.”
Jennifer: Yeah, you have to do something to get it back, but there is also, for me, this moment of how
it’s working for me. There is some weird thing about it, how it protected me somehow. Sonia: Maybe being vulnerable. Jennifer: Yes, and it gave me security that, okay, I locked them in. Sonia: Exactly. You need me. Jennifer: That’s right. Sonia: You need me, so you’ll love me, because I’m valuable to your life. I really have to say that, in
some fashion, almost every woman shares that story to some degree, and I feel so excited that we are collectively becoming aware of that story and saying, “You know, I learned my talents. I learned to be strong. I learned to be generous, and now I can turn that love and give it to myself.”
Jennifer: So I’m hearing the words intellectually, but is there a way that we can take what you’re saying
and sharing — I know that there’s an energetic signature that’s moving into us right now — and then turn that into more of a feeling sense? Is there an exercise or a process that you can do with us that would —
Sonia: Absolutely. Jennifer: Okay, cool. Sonia: The first thing is I really encourage my students — and we can start with you. Jennifer: Am I getting picked out? Sonia: Don’t you love — I so love you being willing to be my international guinea pig, but let us first
start about — I have a question for you. Just tune in to the answer and speak what is true. What about you do you absolutely know and trust without anyone else needing to affirm, that is good and creative and powerful and important about you?
Jennifer: That I have a very open, loving and supportive heart. Sonia: That’s one. What else? Jennifer: You’re going to keep doing this, aren’t you? Sonia: Yes.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 6 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Jennifer: I’m smart. Sonia: Yes, and what else? Jennifer: That I mean well. Sonia: Yes, and what else? Jennifer: That I am doing the best I can and growing in every minute. Sonia: And what else, and what are some that you know, but you’re reluctant to say? Jennifer: That I am talented. Sonia: In what way? Jennifer: I’m a musician and an artist. Holy crap. You’re doing it, again, Sonia. Sonia: I know. Are you talented, or would you say you are really gifted? Jennifer: That’s hard to admit to everyone, but I’ll go for it. I’m really gifted. Sonia: And that’s true. Is that true, Jennifer? Jennifer: Yeah, it’s true, even though I’m a sweat ball right now. Sonia: Yay. And what else? You don’t need anybody to affirm this, and you don’t need to hide it
anymore. Jennifer: I’m a good partner. Sonia: How does it feel to acknowledge that? Jennifer: It feels a little tenuous and tentative, a little vulnerable. Sonia: Let me ask you a question. Is that true? Jennifer: That I’m tenuous and — no. Sonia: No. Jennifer: No, it’s not true. It’s just something I imagined. Sonia: So how are you feeling right now? Jennifer: I’m feeling pretty vibrant. Actually I was kind of tired before I started the show, and I’m feeling
—
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 7 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Sonia: Can you feel that energy building? Jennifer: Yes, yes. Sonia: Because what you are acknowledging is your authentic self and letting her speak, and it’s so
energizing that it makes you high. Jennifer: This is a good high. Sonia: Isn’t it? Jennifer: A really good high. Sonia: Don’t you feel fabulous? Jennifer: Yeah, and it’s not like the lottery winning kind of high. It’s a nice, kind of exalted exuberance
without all the distracting, kind of frenetic energy. Sonia: And is that high coming from your intellect or from somewhere else? Jennifer: No, it’s not. It’s coming from within my being, my heart, my soul. Sonia: And the tool is simply, again, what do you know to be absolutely true, that is powerful, that is
authentic, that is gifted, that is wonderful about you, that you don’t need anyone else to affirm. You know, and then speak it out loud. It’s even more powerful if you maybe get with a girlfriend or a handful of people or do it over a dinner party. I love this question at a dinner party.
Jennifer: Cool, or you could do it in front of thousands and thousands of people. Sonia: I do it with my students, and look how you’re my first global — let’s say my audible aid. You
are my global testimonial. You are my poster child, and it changes, because what is happening is the part of you that speaks what is true is also the part of you that is creative, gifted, intuitive, empowered, able to manifest. It’s your spirit.
Jennifer: So tapping into all this, and I’m feeling this really beautiful, kind of softening in my being, just a
softening, and tapping into this, when we tap into this authentic self, the self that you just brought out in me, and that question can bring out everyone in the audience — is that the pathway to kind of this expanded life, this abundant life, even financial, successful relationship, success, all the kind of fundamentals of the three‐D?
Sonia: Absolutely. Until you tap into your spirit, you won’t believe it. You can talk about it. You can
read The Secret. They are all my friends, believe me, but what I teach is, until you feel the power of the spirit vibrationally, you won’t believe it. But once you begin to practice feeling it and allowing the vibration — and you said you feel this tingling through your being. That is the vibration of your spirit, as opposed to your intellect. How would you describe the two as different?
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 8 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Jennifer: The intellect has kind of very distinct infrastructure, kind of like hard corners, and it’s linear. Sonia: Yes. Jennifer: This feels almost multidimensional, kind of a 360‐degree vista, and it’s open. There’s less black
and white. Sonia: Absolutely. That’s a fabulous way to describe it. What I did, in focusing on the intellect, and as
you so beautifully said, it’s contracted. It’s all compacted. There’s no room in there for anything to enter, such as abundance and love and creativity and joy. It’s really fixed, and it deflects new thought, new energy. I slipped you through the portal into your spirit, and we did it very gracefully, because it’s not hard. We just have to know the way, and it’s through not just feeling, but what I share with my students is when you name it, you claim it. You enter a new dimension, a new energetic field. As you said, “I am now in a multidimensional field.”
Jennifer: Right. Sonia: And that is the field — can you now believe, and would you believe it’s possible to start in this
realm experiencing new things that are positive and loving and really good for you? Jennifer: Yeah, absolutely. It’s kind of, “Duh.” Sonia: I know, because it’s sort of like what I share in my classes. It’s like putting a lock into the key
[sic] and a whole new door opens to a whole new realm. So we just have to learn to put the lock in the key and open it, and it will never come through your intellect. Now, I just want to have a moment to comment, because I was enjoying the conversation about your intellect. What I was taught and love to share is a statement that Einstein made, that the human spirit is a sacred gift, the rational mind its faithful servant. Sadly we’ve thrown away the gift and have become enslaved to the servant.
Jennifer: Right. Sonia: So we’re turning that around, but the way I learned it, which is so fun — I love visuals, because
they tend to stick a little bit longer than a quote — is I like to refer to the first card in the traditional tarot deck. Anybody who hasn’t seen it, they can certainly Google it and up it will pop. It’s a picture of this beautiful, timeless traveler, and this traveler is your spirit. On its back is a satchel, and in the satchel are the tools and the gifts you bring, and in yours is music and voice and connectivity and teaching and empowering others. That’s in your satchel.
In the time traveler, the spirit’s hand is a rose, which is desire, and that is the engine of our
creative being. At his feet is a little white dog, which is the intellect or the ego, companion to the spirit. So when we think of our ego, I always say think of it as your pet and just simply name your pet. Train your pet, because an untrained pet — it’s like your dog. An untrained dog can really cause a lot of problems and poop all over your life, but if you train it, it’s a source of unconditional support and love. So we simply train our egos to serve our spirit rather than fight with it.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 9 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Jennifer: I think you shared this with us a couple of seasons ago, and I’m so glad you’re sharing it again, because it’s such a beautiful analogy. I even trained my pet intellect/ego to go fetch.
Sonia: Perfect. Jennifer: Go fetch me content that would support the guidance of the heart. So the guidance has an
intuition, and go fetch. Sonia: I love that, and that is something I teach. We have joy guides, and we have runners who will
fetch, but your ego loves to be of service. That’s what it’s only trying to do now. It just doesn’t know it has a wonderful spirit to serve. Now that you’ve named all those beautiful qualities — and you know what, Jennifer? We could have gone on for hours.
Jennifer: You’re breaking up there, again, Sonia. Can you say that again? Sonia: Every one of us has so many beautiful qualities of spirit. Jennifer: You’re breaking up. Are you on a cell phone? Did you move? Sonia: I haven’t moved, so I’m not sure what’s going on. Jennifer: Maybe the guides are having some fun with us. Sonia: Should I call you back? Actually we’re back. Jennifer: Oh, we’re back now. Good. Sonia: Yeah. Well, what I’ve been taught, and what I was saying, Jennifer, is that all of us have a
thousand qualities and gifts of spirit. If we just begin to name them and resonate and say, “I know that about me. I know that I light up a room. I know that I’m a person who can really be counted on. I know that I’m grounding. I know that I can upset the boat and get people thinking about new things.” Even a troublemaker is someone who has a gift, because when we upset and cause trouble, we upset people and get them out of their ruts and routines, and they have to become more creative. That’s why every one of us has a mother.
All kidding aside, I think this is such an empowered gift. You tell your intellect, “I want you to
support my creativity.” Like you say, go fetch things and content and people and opportunities, and go fetch listeners who would love to hear this. You find yourself, in certain conversations, just sharing, without any hesitation, what’s beautiful about you, and it doesn’t sound arrogant. It doesn’t sound self‐important. It just resonates as true and gives other people, at the same time, the freedom to acknowledge their true spirit. That’s how we are going to change the vibration of this planet, one person at a time.
Jennifer: By owning our own authenticity, by claiming what our gifts are and who we are. Sonia: And without hesitation. It’s celebrating. Jennifer: It feels like that’s actually unveiling our light even.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 10 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Sonia: Absolutely, and here’s another quick tool to unveil your light — to unveil another’s. When you
meet someone, the next time you meet someone, speak to someone, anyone, instead of saying, “Hi, how are you,” which is speaking to their pet, which will be, “Bark, bark, bark,” say, “How’s your spirit today?”
Jennifer: My goodness. Sonia: “How’s your spirit today? I see it in your eyes.” I was at a restaurant in New Jersey, teaching a
workshop while I was there, and our waiter was clearly overburdened and very irritated and not in a good mood and let us know it when he came to serve us for lunch. I said to him, “It’s so good to see you. How’s your spirit?” He stopped and shook his head at me like, “I didn’t just hear that, did I?” I said, “I can see it in your eyes.” He shook his head and walked away. He turned back at me and said, “I’ve never heard that before. That’s a first.” But Jennifer, the rest of our lunch, he was so loving and so kind, and at the end, he brought a piece of pie as a gift. In his New Jersey way, he said, “It was the last piece in the pie tin, so I thought I’d give it to you.” Not totally different but happy to be seen.
Jennifer: It’s a real subtle little thing that you can do that’s not too overt or even woo‐woo. Sonia: Not at all, and people instantly smile, because inside of every one of us, whether they have a
barking Chihuahua or a menacing Doberman or Great Dane, the minute you say, “How is your spirit,” that spirit is witnessed and awakened, and they check in. They come back. They change the channel, and then you can say, “And mine is happier for seeing you today.” Simple, not too touchy‐feely. It’s not too weird, but it’s just real enough that, for the rest of that day, that person is going to think of that and may even try it with someone else.
Jennifer: Wow. It feels like we could even do that for ourselves. I can picture myself waking up in the
morning and just asking, “How’s your spirit today, Jen?” Sonia: Yeah. You take your shower, look in the mirror, do my favorite yoga pose, into the mouth to
the ears, look in the mirror and talk to yourself and say, “Hi, how’s your spirit today?” And then answer. It bounces back and forth, and it makes you laugh, even if you say, “Mine isn’t home right now. My spirit’s still sleeping.” It’s changing the frequency, and that is what my work is about and always has been. What I’m so excited about now is that there has never been a more auspicious or hospitable time for people to want to and sense that they need to change the frequency, because the frequency that they’ve been sucked into has been that frequency of fear and depression and maybe some anger. We’re just sort of being affected by this frequency that’s running like its own perpetual motion machine, but it’s not really that difficult to pop out of. It’s easier now than ever.
Jennifer: Just saying that — I like hearing that affirmation. It just makes it all feel like, “Okay, I can kind
of relax a little bit.” Sonia: Yes. Jennifer: It feels like it’s a little intense at times right now.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 11 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Sonia: It is, and for me, I have had, I would say, quite possibly one of the most challenging years, March 2011 to March 2012. So many structures in my own life have fallen apart, so many things, clear down to my, like I said, being in a wheelchair for the last three months or on crutches, and I’m a dancing queen. But what I can say is that while the changes have been often unexpected, radical, unnerving, unexpected, ungrounding, we are all in it together, moving to higher ground, moving to a higher frequency. These changes open our hearts. We are starting to ask for help with far less resistance. We’re starting to see one another not as the enemy but as a potential helper and friend. We’re starting to reach out and see ourselves in community more. A lot of good things are coming.
The harvest for all the bumps along the way is not far behind. I really am excited about these
changing frequencies, and the more we speak of spirit positively, our own, the more we can recognize the spirit in others.
Jennifer: And what you just stated, how’s your spirit today — when you recognize the spirit in another,
my feeling has always been that they get to see it as well. Sonia: Absolutely. I say to people, “I see the spirit in your eyes. It’s really bright. I like the sparkle.” Jennifer: Oh, my God. That feels so good. Sonia: Yeah. It’s just like, “I see you. I see you.” And in fact, in so many traditions, ancient traditions,
the greeting, the native greeting is, “I see you,” meaning your spirit. Jennifer: Like Avatar. Sonia: Yes, and that is why that was in the movie, because it pulled from a tradition that, if we start
saying — and joking around. Someone’s crabby today. You say, “Well, I can see how your ego’s feeling today. How’s your spirit?” Another question that absolutely I have shared with you, and it is an instant game changer, is what does your spirit love. That is a beautiful question. So let me ask you, Jennifer, what does your spirit love?
Jennifer: Playing. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Walking on the beach. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Reading. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Playing music. Sonia: What else?
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 12 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Jennifer: Singing. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Writing. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Hanging out with my best friend Mary. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Traveling. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Meeting new people. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Being blessed by my beautiful audience. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Teaching. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Dolphins and whales. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: Working out. Wow, that’s a new one. That feels good. Sonia: How are you feeling right now? Jennifer: I am kind of, pretty exuberant. Sonia: Are you just beaming from ear to ear? Jennifer: I am. Sonia: It’s a fabulous game to play. So what does your spirit love and what else? Now we say, “Mine
loves chocolate and lavender and fresh sheets out of the dryer and beautiful underwear for myself and not the paramedics.” Aren’t we just feeling this beautiful, expanded energy? So here’s something new. See this feeling that you’re feeling right now?
Jennifer: Yeah.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 13 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Sonia: These are the perfect conditions to create anything, and draw it in, that your heart desires. Jennifer: So how do we do that? Sonia: Say, “What do you want to experience next?” Jennifer: What do I want to experience next? Sonia: What would you love to experience next, that you’ve never experienced before? Jennifer: Are you asking me? Sonia: Uh‐huh. We have the perfect conditions. Jennifer: What do I want to experience next that — oh, okay. Sonia: What would you love — Jennifer: I would love to be in an intimate relationship with a man. Sonia: Just breathe and just go, “Ah.” How do you feel? Jennifer: I have to say I feel a tad vulnerable. Sonia: Yeah. So here’s my next question. Is it true that you would love that? Jennifer: Yes. Sonia: Then so it is. Now, what else do you love? Jennifer: I love watching my favorite shows on TV. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: I love sitting in the sun. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: I love yoga. Sonia: What else? Jennifer: I love the vision of me running. Sonia: See how you laugh? Do you know that laughter is the language of spirit, and it’s universal? So
when you feel vulnerable, just go back and start naming, again, what you love.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 14 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Jennifer: I see. Okay, cool. Sonia: Aren’t you somewhat more grounded now? Jennifer: Yes. I remember you telling me once, when I was afraid of something, it’s the same idea. So
when the kind of lower‐vibrating emotions show up, in the midst of this — Sonia: And they will, because that’s your little barking dog, going, “Err.” Jennifer: We have evidence that that’s not a good thing. Sonia: It’s a fine thing. It’s just that vulnerable side goes, “Do I have to protect you?” Jennifer: Right, right, right. Sonia: Yeah. So you just go back to, “I love this, and I love this, and I love this.” Breathe. I want to
comment on something you did naturally that was just so perfect. There were times when you paused, and you said, “Umm.” Now, put your hand on your heart. Go, “Umm.”
Jennifer: Umm. Wow, it vibrates the heart. Sonia: Doesn’t it? Jennifer: Wow. Sonia: Yes, it vibrates the heart, and it opens it up even more. So perfect. Jennifer: Oh, cool. Sonia: Do you know how long we actually probably put into that? No more than, at the most, maybe
45 seconds. Jennifer: Wow. So when we are in the midst of deep fear, upset and so on, just this simple question
game, what does your spirit love, can move you instantly. Then you can move it to shift into what you want to experience instead of what you’re currently experiencing.
Sonia: Yes, and that’s exactly it, but you have to shift the frequency. What do I love, and what do I
love? So anytime you feel insecure or bombarded by negative vibes — I do like to point out to my students, and I’d like to share this with your listeners, often what we’re feeling is just a generic feeling that we’ve absorbed, because there’s such a low common frequency out there of self‐doubt that is perpetuated by traditional media. It just keeps being bombarded. So you may not even be feeling what you’re feeling. You may be just channeling a generic funk.
Jennifer: Oh, wow. So it may not even be ours. Sonia: Right. So often people just beat themselves up, like, “Why am I feeling this?” My response is,
“It doesn’t matter. It’s probably you’ve caught the generic funk flu.” The way to heal yourself instantly is to say — here’s the important piece — out loud, what do I love. Just start it, and
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 15 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
you can even start it in a song. I love music, and I love cake, and I love coffee, and I love snakes. The more playful, the more quickly you will shift, because if you put music to it, as you know, you’re connecting to the angelic realm. You really shift quickly, and again, I like to say it’s just like putting a key into a lock, and you open yourself into a brand new realm.
Jennifer: So we don’t have to dive into what’s going on, what’s happening and why is this here. Sonia: I don’t even recommend it. That’s your barking dog. Jennifer: Right. Sonia: So when you get into the old story, “Bark, bark, bark,” say, “I love it. It served me, and what
do I love?” Jennifer: What do I love? Sonia: What do I love until you really start feeling it and saying, “What would I love to experience
next?” Jennifer: You talked about that card, the first card in the tarot deck and that we’ve got this timeless
traveler with this satchel of gifts, and then there’s the rose of desire. I know that some people have this thing that they’re not allowed to desire. Desire’s okay?
Sonia: I really — first of all, I take big challenge with that, because desire is the engine of creativity. I
wouldn’t have created a chair if I didn’t desire to sit down. Desire is the engine of our creative experience, and trying to put it out is just a mental exercise of control that I believe actually is part of the patriarchal, sort of, conspiracy to keep us in self‐doubt.
Now, with that said, do our desires come from our higher self or our lower self? We can
become addictive. We can let our barking dogs control everything and only follow its nose to the next bone, to the next piece of meat, pardon me, but to the next thing I can inhale and consume. In that regard, I think that those kinds of desires don’t satisfy or fulfill, but we all have a beautiful desire in our hearts to create something beautiful, to experience something beautiful. Not only is it okay. It’s part of our spiritual nature. So I really believe that we need to distinguish between lusting and gluttony for things of a lower nature that haven’t fulfilled us. We get bellyaches, and we get satiated for a moment. But the kind of desire that is in us is the desire to create something good.
We’re not just here to say, “No, thank you. No, thank you. No, thank you,” to our human
experience and try to rise above. Even those who say, “I don’t want to use my desire nature for fulfilling my five senses,” still want to use their desire to uplift the planet and even uplift their own heart. So yes, our desire nature is a good thing.
Jennifer: I love that distinction, and it feels like there’s a clear line in the sand between the desire that’s
not really a desire but more of a filling the void and almost a distraction away from versus — so I’m feeling some of the folks. I can feel the shame and guilt right now of those people who feel that they have this lust and gluttony and what I would even call, maybe, habit of those things. To me, it’s just an old habit sometimes.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 16 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Sonia: Well, it’s just that your dog has been ruling the roost, and now we need to start asking what
are the desires of your spirit. That’s all. Just change the channel, because your spirit does have beautiful desires, and these other strategies to try to feel satisfied were just strategies that didn’t work. Let’s not beat up on ourselves. Let’s just not.
Jennifer: I’m thinking of calm, assertive from Cesar Milan. Sonia: Yeah. You train your pet and say, “Well, no, we tried that. We’ve tried the drugs. We’ve tried
the cigarettes. We’ve tried the alcohol. We’ve tried the food. We’ve tried the exercise into a smoking pile of butter. We’ve tried working ourselves into oblivion. We’ve tried it.” But maybe I’m asking the wrong part of me what do I want to experience next, because those are the kinds of desires, and those are the kinds of energies that attract and fulfill.
Jennifer: So moving your energy into the heart while asking that question — Sonia: Heart space, which is your spirit. Ask your spirit, “What would I love to experience next or
create next? What would I love?” Even create is a bit of an intimidating word. People say, “I don’t want to talk about that. What if I fail,” or, “I tried, and it didn’t work.” So I say, “I get that, but you were probably not resonating at the frequency of the heart. Your spirit’s the creator in you. Your intellect can serve that, but it is your spirit that creates what makes you happy.” So ask your spirit, “What would you love to experience next?”
Jennifer: Is this something that we kind of need to be a bit vigilant, especially if we have these kind of
old habits? Sonia: Well, I think the most important thing to do — some of us are visual, so yes, if you are, speak
visually, but it’s really about dropping in and feeling. The way to feel is, before you ask anything about, “What do I want to attract or experience next,” what do you love and what else and what else and what else.
Jennifer: That’s the feeling. Sonia: You have to start there. Do that for a week, and then say, “What would I love to experience
next?” You are in the perfect condition to allow it in. Do you remember when we were at the beginning and you said, “Yeah, it’s all very intellectual, but I’m not feeling it”?
Jennifer: Yes. Sonia: That’s where most people live. Until we feel it and find our way in, we won’t create it, because
our intellect doesn’t believe it and rightfully so. It’s not the intellect that can attract. It’s the spirit. So we just kind of dance over there. It’s not difficult. I consider myself the Pied Piper of spirit. Let me just seduce you into this realm.
Jennifer: Okay. Sonia: It’s where you live. It’s how you were born. It’s where you come from. It’s your natural
home. The way into the heart and what you love is your natural place, and it’s fun.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 17 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Jennifer: It is fun. Sonia: Isn’t it? Jennifer: Yeah. I can feel a lot of smiles on the call. Sonia: I can too. My heart is beating, really feeling and resonating. We have this collective
frequency. I can feel it. People are saying, “Hmm, I like that. I can do that. That’s pretty easy.” On your way to work, what do you love? In the shower, what do you love? When you’re looking at yourself, how’s your spirit today when you look in the mirror, instead of looking with stink eye and, “Oh, my God,” and this and that and the other that doesn’t look — “Hi, how’s your spirit today?”
Jennifer: I love stink eye. Sonia: Stink eye, yeah. We have to know when we have stink eye. Little kids know. They say, “Don’t
give me your stink eye.” So look in the mirror, and if you see a stink eye, start saying, “I know what you need. You need me to sing about all the things that are really beautiful and true about you.”
Jennifer: Raindrops on roses and mittens on kittens. Sonia: Right, and your beautiful voice, Jennifer. I was waiting for you to say that. My point is we
have a thousand things we can say we love. Jennifer: I forgot to say my cats. Sonia: Yeah, see that. You’ll never run out of things. Jennifer: No, not ever. Sonia: And really, also you’ll never run out of things about you that you love and you know are true
and you don’t need anyone to tell you. Start with one and just say, “Hmm, and what else? Hmm, and what else,” like you’re following a trail of flowers.
Jennifer: It’s such a beautiful image. Sonia: It is, and we can feel it in our heart. Jennifer: I can feel the whole call just really feeling this softening and this allowing and this opening and
this expansive, gentle, gentle but expansive energy. Sonia: And that is what everybody is talking about. Welcome to the quantum field. Jennifer: Wait a minute. I think we need an echo. Welcome to the quantum field. Sonia: The quantum field.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 18 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Jennifer: Field, field. Sonia: Don’t you love it? It’s my favorite place to play. Jennifer: Oh, my gosh. I love it. I want to change gears just a little bit. We’ve got some people that are
asking questions about guides and entities in particular. I’m hearing a lot about entities, and there’s these negative attachments and bad entities. Is that true?
Sonia: Well, I’ve addressed it a little bit. I think the word entity is scary. Jennifer: It is. It’s monsters. Sonia: Because we confuse it with scary monster and it’s going to possess me. Jennifer: Right. Sonia: An entity is just a spiraling frequency of negativity that we can get caught in. It can possess
our mind, but it cannot have any influence over us if we do the things that I just shared, because it is not stronger than the vibration of love. Nothing is stronger, by the way, than the sound of your own voice speaking about the things you love and what you love about yourself. That will not only purge any negative entity, it will be like a collective exorcism of any place you work, any place you live, any place you travel, because that frequency, as we are all feeling, that frequency of love is the strongest frequency there is.
Jennifer: Sonia, I used to have this — I was kind of shown this little vision of these “entities” that are
basically lower‐vibrating energies. That’s pretty much all that’s going on, right? Sonia: Uh‐huh. I call it riffraff. Jennifer: Riffraff. We actually have this incredible, unique opportunity, which is, when the riffraff shows
up, we can use it to turn it around and vibrate even higher. Is that kind of — Sonia: That’s it exactly. The minute you have — and I love my language, because it’s the language of
children and spirit. When you’re feeling the heebie jeebies — don’t call it an entity. That’s like, “Huh, lions and tigers and bears. Oh, no.” Just say, “I’ve got the heebie jeebies.” Remember that song the Hokey Pokey?
Jennifer: Uh‐huh. Sonia: I put my left foot in, put my left foot out. Shake it all about. You can even do the Hokey Pokey
and get rid of any negative frequency. Now, on a more serious note, if you’re hanging around where negative entities tend to gather, places of low vibration, conversation, you can be a ghostbuster and start saying, “Well, what do you love, and what do you love?”
Jennifer: I love that, ghostbuster.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 19 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Sonia: Yeah. You can be a ghostbuster. You can be a kind of stinky heebie jeebie buster, or you can use your left and right foot, singing your way out the door. It is a word that has a lot more menacing connotation than any negative energy really holds, but it is important that you create a daily practice of really establishing your own positive frequency. That’s the best ghostbuster of them all. They just won’t affect you, or if they do, not for very long.
Jennifer: Right. Sonia: You can’t recognize them. Jennifer: They can’t really survive in that higher frequency. Sonia: No, they can’t. It’s like AM talk radio cannot be heard or survive in satellite. I really do want,
because it’s just another form of barking dog, only in an energetic plane — it’s just a stinky vibe. It’s just a stinky vibe.
Jennifer: It’s a stink eye. Sonia: It’s a stink eye. It’s a peeu. It’s a stink eye. It’s a yuck, but it doesn’t have power. And it feeds
on your fear, and that’s why I treat it like, “Eh, it’s riffraff.” I’m not going to give it any power, and I’m not going to give it any importance. Frankly it’s there. It’s there. It’s like bad gas in a realm. Just move away. You don’t have to take it on and go, “What is that?” Whatever it is, I don’t want to be around it.
Jennifer: I’ve got a little bit of energetic gas. Excuse me. What do I love? Sonia: Yeah, a little energetic gas. Jennifer: We get some energetic Pepto‐Bismol. Sonia: But I’ll tell you what breaks up any negative vibe really quickly. Laughter. Jennifer: Yeah. Sonia: Laughter chases the devil away. Jennifer: I started the practice a little while ago of trying — well, not trying — at least three, four times
a week, going onto YouTube and watching some of the funny stuff. There’s the Stupid Autocorrect site. That’s one of my favorites.
Sonia: Oh, I have to see that. Have you ever seen Charlie bit my finger? Jennifer: Uh‐uh. Sonia: Charlie bit my finger is a wonderful YouTube for anybody who wants to laugh really quickly.
Go to YouTube and Google Charlie bit my finger. It is hysterical.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 20 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Jennifer: There’s a comedian I met recently, who’s actually going to be on the fall series. His name is Kyle Cease, C‐e‐a‐s‐e. If you Google him, too, oh, my God, everything he puts out there is just a freaking riot. He kind of makes fun of the woo‐woo in a really beautiful way.
Sonia: And I make fun of it too but because I know it’s real. Jennifer: Exactly. Sonia: I love it. I love us. I love us, and I love that we — we get laughed at because we’re so not
subscribing to the seriousness of the heavy intellectual, have it all under lockdown control. It’s sort of like my favorite play that’s touring the country, Spamalot. The French guy’s just laughing at the English guys, and they’re supposed to be afraid of him. It’s hilarious. Laughter is your highest form of spiritual protection.
Jennifer: Oh, wow. That feels really good. So we don’t have to have amulets anymore and draw circles
around us. Sonia: No. We like them, because we like to feel all mysterious and all wonderful, but we don’t need
them. We just need to laugh. Jennifer: We just need to laugh. Sonia: It’s the highest form of spiritual protection. Jennifer: That is so beautiful. Laughing is the highest form of spiritual protection. Sonia: Uh‐huh, starting at enjoying your own pet. Jennifer: I’m giggling. Sonia: Mine is Fifi the poodle. She likes to shop, and she can be a real snot. My husband will
absolutely affirm that is so. When she’s tired, don’t do anything but put her on a satin pillow. So we laugh at that. My kids will go, “Oh, no. Fifi’s here,” or my husband will go, “I need to take Fifi for a walk.” Then we can laugh. We’re always going to have our shadow sides, our human nature, our human side, and we’re not to get over it. We’re just not to let it crush our spirit nature or hide us from our spirit nature.
Jennifer: Beautiful. We’re reaching the top of the hour, and I want to talk a little bit about this really
cool special offer you’ve put together. But folks, stay around, because I’m going to have one final question for Sonia at the end, and you’re going to want to catch that. So before we go to the special offer, I want to tell you the phrase that pays. Tonight the phrase that pays is very exciting. Sonia is actually going to give away a 30‐minute one‐on‐one session. So you can actually get a session, a reading with Sonia for 30 minutes. Oh, my God. Thank you so much for offering this. The phrase that pays is when you name it, you claim it. That’s the phrase that pays. When you name it, you claim it is the phrase that pays for tonight’s show. Just go to the contest page on Healing With The Masters:

I’m very excited to share with you Sonia’s special offer, because what’s so cool about this
particular offer is that Sonia has never offered this anywhere before. It’s only available for our Healing With The Masters audience, and it’s a beautiful, beautiful product, set of products here that really — if you enjoyed Sonia’s work tonight, she’s going to take you way deeper with lots of exercises, lots of processes. This is actually based on Sonia’s workshop that she does in a very intimate group setting. She’s never released this before, so we’re really thrilled. Thank you, Sonia, for letting us allow our audience to have that intimate workshop experience with you in this package.
Sonia: I am excited, because in my workshops, unlike in any other form, my high teacher guides come
in and teach. I have students who have taken pictures where you can see the globes and the huge auras and lights and sparks, and so basically it is the guides teaching through me. It really does change your vibration.
Jennifer: It’s really exciting, and the fact that you’ve allowed us to offer this to the Healing With The
Masters audience — you’re going to learn how to heal all aspects of your life, how to overcome those feelings of fear, weakness and vulnerability, even channel your own spirit guides. Sonia’s going to walk you to your own true path. She’s going to help you discover your path and become comfortable and conscious of everything that’s working in your life. I don't know if you guys are feeling this, but just me reading off the page and sharing with you some of the information that you’re going to receive is already activating. I can feel it. It’s really powerful stuff.
Sonia: Because our guides, the teacher guides are here. Jennifer: They’re here. Sonia: You can feel it. Jennifer: Yeah, and you can certainly feel them on the audio. Sonia: Well, one thing that I’m really excited about sharing, because I haven’t before, is when I’m
teaching, I channel these unbelievably beautiful, beautiful guides. They come in, and they are so clear in the way they teach. I’m as interested as anyone. Also, I’m really excited about this because we talk about how to change, but this actually walks you into the frequency. That’s what’s so important, is you actually change, just like we did. That’s what’s so — my mission is to have people actually have the experience of the change, and that’s what these classes bring out.
Jennifer: Yeah, and that’s just the one package. Then we’ve got a second package where we’ve taken
from the various workshops. We’ve taken the powerful meditations, the guided processes and meditations that Sonia has done and put them together in a package for you. There’s a powerful journey to meet your guides. There’s an expedition into your heart of love, what she calls a Holy Container. I loved all three meditations, and the second one, the journey into your Holy Container, is just so relevant and important. I felt, in particular, for this year 2012, that we are in that heart center, and Sonia guides you right there. If you’ve ever had a problem getting there, you won’t after this audio, and there’s this wonderful, wonderful program that
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 22 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
ends in a joyous outbreak of song. You get to have a juicy, dancing, joyful, energetic moment by listening to that beautiful meditation.
Then we finish with Soul Lessons, Soul Purpose, which is a program that Sonia did. I think it
was in Great Britain at a very special church. Sonia: Yes. Jennifer: It was so cool, the most important soul lessons directly from her spirit guides, opening your
heart, raising your vibration, learning to become the creative master of the life that you’re intended to have on Earth. When I’m reading those words from the page, it’s like, “Amen.”
Sonia: Amen. Jennifer: Amen, sister. Sonia: And do you know what amen means? Jennifer: What? Sonia: So it is. Jennifer: So it is, indeed. So this powerful package is there at: specials.healingwiththemasters.com/Sonia It’s at a beautiful 78 percent discount. It’s a really special package, and again, Sonia has
worked in partnership with us to create this product. These are not available anywhere else. They’re only to the Healing With The Masters audience, and you won’t likely be able to find them, again, unless Healing With The Masters sells them. So this is a powerful, powerful package, and we’re so honored and delighted that you played with us in this way and allowed us to offer these really incredible products.
Sonia: I’m very excited. I know people will just be thrilled because of the guides and how they shift
your vibration. You won’t be the same person. Even when I listen to them, I say, “Wow.” It is the antidote for anything that ails you.
Jennifer: It’s a wonderful package. Sonia: Thank you. Jennifer: And again, it’s at: specials.healingwiththemasters.com/Sonia Go on over there and listen and experience if nothing else. If it doesn’t resonate or if it’s not in
the cards right now, no worries. Just going there and reading some of the words and feeling the energy, the guides will be there to support you. Is that true?
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 23 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Sonia: Absolutely, as they are right now. Jennifer: Right, right. Beautiful. So my final question, Sonia, is we’re getting lots of questions and
comments here about, “One minute I feel great, like you just shared with us on this call. I feel so much better, and then two seconds later, something awful happens, and I feel like crap.” It’s like that other shoe dropping. What’s going on there?
Sonia: What’s happening is that we do get anxious about — I always bring it down to this question.
How good can we stand it? So we’ve reached the ceiling, and we get a little scared about how good we feel. So we kind of create a frequency to pull us back down. That’s why I say it’s really important to train yourself to keep raising and holding a higher and higher frequency. After every practice that I shared with you tonight, tell yourself, “This is my new baseline. This is my new foundation. This is the beginning, not the end of how good I can stand it.” And that other shoe won’t stop —
Jennifer: How good can I stand it? Sonia: Yeah, and this is the beginning, not the end. I’m not tapping out. I’m not reaching a peak.
This is my new foundation, and that will stop that sort of backlash of anxiety that literally attracts us a sobering experience. It really does work.
Jennifer: I can feel that already, just claiming that. These are such simple things that really shift us
instantly. Sonia: Well, I think the world has, sometimes, way too much information and not enough practical
experience. It’s like Einstein said. I love to — I read about Einstein a lot, because it makes me sound smart, but he did say, “There’s two ways of knowing, knowing about and knowing through experience.” I like to be the teacher that helps you know through experience. Then you own it.
Jennifer: Amen. Thank you, Sonia Choquette. I just adore you. Sonia: I as well, you. Jennifer: It was just a magical ride, and I’m so grateful for your beautiful — it’s kind of like, I want to say,
childlike gentleness with us. Sonia: Thank you. Jennifer: Soft gloves and bunny rabbits. Sonia: Well, we’re holy, and we should be treated that way. Jennifer: Yes, we are indeed.
Jennifer McLean’s Healing With The Masters: Vol. 9 Page 24 of 32 Guest: Sonia Choquette March 27, 2012 Copyright 2012. All Rights Reserved. Jennifer McLean | Healing With The Masters
Sonia: I’m so honored to be — I look forward to my calls with you, because they exhilarate me. I feel all the wonderful listeners, and I feel so blessed by the beautiful energy that’s coming across the airwaves and the higher frequencies. I just am grateful, thankful and send love to all.
Jennifer: Thank you, and thank everyone for being part of today’s show. It seems we always come to
these calls as individuals, and in the end, we wind up a united community and united in our intention and our vibration. We know we make the difference. We matter. You all matter. I love you so very much. Until next time, good night, everyone. Good night, Sonia.
Sonia: Good night. Jennifer: Bye now. [End of Discussion]
