The applicant needs to enter “ID & Password” to login in XGN & click on submit (Single user ID

to obtain the Consent & HWM Authorization)

Update the Profile details

The applicant needs to Updates the profile details

• Hazardous Waste Schedule I, II & IV details as per Hazardous wastes & other Rules, 2016 (

http://kspcb.gov.in/HWM-and-Other-Waste- Rules-2016.pdf ) • Please update “Air, Water, Product & Raw materials” details. • In case of Construction activity please mention Name of the Product & Raw materials as “Construction

activity” and quantity of CFE and CFO as “Zero (0.00)” • When Clicked on “Hazardous waste quantity”, Select “New waste category” then update the

category code, waste name, quantity/year, select the unit. After all these details select the

“Management of Hazd Waste Disposal” then click on “Save” button.

• Emergency Response Plan

• FORM 3 [See rules 6(5), 13(7), 14(6), 16(5) and 20 (1)]

o Format for maintaining records of hazardous and other wastes

• FORM 4 [See rules 6(5), 13(8), 16(6) and 20 (2)]

o Form for filing annual returns

• FORM 10 [See rule 19 (1)]

– Manifest for hazardous and other waste

• Details of End users of products or Byproducts (For Preprocessors/recyclers/co-processors or users of HW or other

wastes)

• Details of Occupational health and safety measures (For Preprocessors/recyclers/co-processors or users of HW or

other wastes)

• A report on the compliance with the facility setup as per Central Pollution Control Board's guidelines

(For Preprocessors/ recyclers/ co-processors or users of HW or other wastes)

• Compliance reports with respect to the conditions of Prior Environmental clearance

Select the appropriate type for “Type of Occupier” FORM I for “Recyclers/Generators/ TSDF operators” as

per Hazardous & Other Waste Rules,2016.

As installed capacity is applicable for “Recyclers/Preprocessors/Co-processors/Users of hazardous or other

wastes” , enter the value & unit. In case of Generators & for TSDF, mention as “Not Applicable”. (Don’t

leave Blank for that column if ‘not applicable’)

As TSDF site is applicable for “TSDF operators”, they must provide the details. In case of Generators & for

Recyclers, mention it as “Not Applicable”. (Don’t leave Blank for that column if not applicable)

Click on “Save” button.

The application will be saved and the inward No. will popup

After saving the application further fill the Product/Raw materials/Mode of management details

In case of construction activity please mention Name of the Product & Raw materials as “Construction activity” and

quantity of CFE and CFO as “Zero (0.00) and unit as “Not specified”

Click on “EDIT” to update the details of each Product/Raw materials/Hazardous waste, after updating the

details click on “Update” the details will be saved.

In the “Remarks” column please mention disposal mode of particular Hazardous Waste prescribed by the

Board as in the previous authorization order.

Click on “Submit Application”.

After submitting the application the message will pop up as “Application Submitted Successfully”

Industry login

Click on Profile-1 to update the profile.

Click on “Profile-8” to reply for the query sent by the RO.

Click on the ID Number , Enter your reply then Click on “Save”.

ESIGN BY THE APPLICANT

On scrutiny of online application, the applicant needs to make ‘eSign’ on the application forms. Initially, the applicant

needs to click on any one form (Ex: Haz-1) for making eSign based on the type of Authorization.

The applicant shall enter the Aadhaar number & OTP

The page will be redirected automatically to XGN screen.

After verifying the e-sign by the RO, In the applicant’s login� Legal/CCA orders�Form1/Forwarding letter tab

Download “HAZ-I” & “Forwarding Letter” and take the print out of these.

Forwarding letter

• The HWM application will be processed by the Regional Officer

• Inspection of the Industry by the Regional officer and entry of details in XGN Software

• Subsequently, based on the delegation of powers, the e-signed & e-outwarded HWM authorization

order will be issued online.

• The applicants can download the authorization order from their respective logins as well as from

the Board’s website.
