– 800 MHz State Law Enforcement Radio System SLERS is 98.5% operational w/ wide area connectivity. 1.5%-reduced coverage

– 3 sites reduced coverage but operational • Meacham in NW Escambia Co (Intermittent tower top amplifier

failure)• Ocean City in S. Okaloosa Co. (Antennas loose from tower)• Kelly in S. Walton Co. (Tower top amplifier failure)

– Crestview and Crestview Air sites are showing queuing (25%) due to bad antenna affecting several channels.

– STO-M/A COM is expediting the commissioning of Niceville site (NEW)

– Nineteen (19) sites are operating on generator due to AC power failure.

– The SUNCOM switch nodes and intermachine trunks in Pensacola & Panama City are operational. The frame relay switch of Panama City was restored.

– 100,885 customer wireline outages reported in Hurricane Frances impacted areas

– 33,288 customer wireline repaired since yesterday 9/16/04– approx. 934,000 services restored since Hurricane Frances (voice

and data lines)– 203,397 customer wireline outages reported in Hurricane Ivan

impacted areas (many are unable to report outages, numbers expected to increase)

– 97.83% average of wireless coverage- Frances– Reported average of 51.75% wireless coverage CAPACITY

AVAILABLE in the areas impacted by Hurricane Ivan– 2 SAT COWs- deployed to Escambia Co EOC – 1 SAT COW deployed to Okaloosa Co-Destin Sheriff's Office– 1 COW at the LSA#5 Duke Field being powered up. 60 Readylink

wireless phones are in route to the site. Local technicians are on site and installing the supporting T1 access facilities and generators at this time.

– FEMA US&R Task Forces VA-TF-2 (Type I) and TX-TF-1 (Type III) are conducting grid searches on the Alabama end of Perdido Key and will join the Federal and State task forces currently working in Florida

– State Task Forces FL-TF-6 and FL-TF-8 will join search efforts upon arrival this afternoon

– Two FEMA US&R Specialists are conducting reconnaissance with Rapid Needs Assessment Teams in Florida

Power– Frances:

• Estimated 3,900 customers without power. Down from peak of 4.4 million. (restored power to 4.3 million customers)

• Outage data can be found in Tracker # 1549• Restorations are ongoing. ETRs available by county on

Tracker # 4023.• Continuing to monitor power restoration.

– Ivan:• Estimated 399,094 customers without power.• Outage data can be found in Tracker # 997.• 1,800 plus repair personnel are tasked to the Panhandle to

help in restoring the outages of Ivan.• Damage assessments continue.

• Current Operations (continued) –Fuel– Three major ports are open, recieving ships and filling tankers.– More than 123.7 million gallons in state for distribution.– Over the next 72 hours, there are 138.9 million gallons for distribution

(53.3 million gallons Atlantic Ports and 85.6 million gallons to Port of Tampa and Orlando). The Tampa and Orlando supply is contingent upon Ivan. Supplies are being augmented by tanker trucks from Ports of Jacksonville and Everglades.

– Over the next 9 days, there are 220.1 million gallons with the majority arriving after the passage of Ivan.

– Over 1,200 delivery trucks are available.– 235,000 gallons of diesel has arrived in Sanford and Tampa via rail.

The product is being distributed. The 2nd. train arrived in Sanford on 9/16 @ 9:00 pm. The train has 570,000 gallons of diesel and 114,000 gallons of unleaded for distribution to first responders.

– Natural Gas:• Minor leaks have been reported. All of them have been repaired.
