• 12-12-12 rule• Who is in the room• Site visit?• Talk to the organisers• Research the organisation• Have business cards• Have a name badge and wear it

• Making contact for 5mins or more with 5 people
• Following up with those 5 and make a good connection with 1-3
• See at least one person 1:1 within 5 working days.

• Practice so that you are natural• Always keep learning • Seek first to help then to be helped• Follow-up using a database• Measure results

• Seek only to make connections with people• Once you have fully connected the fun starts• Remember that in-order to refer business to
you people will be risking their reputation• Act professional at all times• Never burn bridges or lose contact
