The next step is to safely and responsibly dispose of your old electronic devices…and for Hudson County residents, recyclingelectronic items just got easier than ever!
As of January 1st, 2011, New Jersey has a NEW ElectronicWaste Disposal Law that holds manufacturers responsible for 100% of the cost of recycling electronic devices.
Now Hudson County residents no longer have to wait until Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Days to properly dispose of their computers, iPods, stereos, televisions, monitors,printers, cell phones and other electronics.
The HCIA has set up convenient Electronic Drop-Off Boxes innumerous locations throughout the county, where residents caneasily drop off their old devices AT NO COST!
