A contemporary image, breathing the fascinating antique atmosphere which one finds in old libraries. So traditional libraries have been redesigned using mono-blocks MG800. Where theology and craftsmanship place restyling mix together in this project that is 10 years old.

Il top di questa credenza è un intreccio di tavole di ciliegio che sapientemente patinate con oli essenziali e cera d’api, esaltano la venatura cangiante di questa prezioso legno da frutto. In contrasto con la laccatura “GRIGIO LONDRA”, vengono applicati ai cassetti dei MELOGRANI in ceramica placcati in foglia oro, che sono da sempre auspicio di prosperità e abbondanza.

That’s how Marchetti melts together classic with modern, tradition and poetry. The top of this sideboard is perfectly matched in cherry wood masterly finished with oils and bee’s wax, highlight the iridescent wood veins of this precious fruit tree wood. In contrast to the “GRIGIO LONDRA” finish that’s applied to the drawers, are applied to the drawers very original POMEGRANATE FRUIT knobs in gold plated ceramic, that are always considered as a good luck charm.

Mai come negli ultimi anni la Serenissima è lo scenario della grande architettata. A partire dal discusso ponte della stazione Santa Lucia , firmato Santiago Calatrava, fino all’edificio/intervento del Padiglione del portoghese dell’ultima Biennale, che si sia a passeggio o semplicemente in navigazione con il tradizionale vaporetto, a Venezia si respira arte e da qui nascono mille ispirazioni in bilico tra contemporaneo e classicismo fra passato e futuro.

E’ un limite definire splendida Venezia, e senza un limite Venezia ha regalato bellezza alla nostra cultura. Attraversare i canali non significa solo essere immersi in quello straordinario spirito del passato, ma i suoi sapori e odori, i suoi muri diroccati e splendidi arabeschi ti investono come la gente, maleducatamente familiare in ogni urlo, da canale a canale, nelle dialettali battute della gente che scopri umana al di là del tempo. La stessa cultura che origina un attento, autentico, design, la stessa cultura che fa vivere artigiani e poi industrie che fabbricano bellezza e stile. Così, con una breve navigazione nel cuore di Venezia riportiamo i mobili nati dalla tradizione del tempo, quale scenario migliore di questo? Una volta inoltrati si entra nel cuore della città e nel cuore della gente nello stesso istante, così abbiamo trovato facile ospitalità per le nostre foto, nei cortili, negli splendidi ingressi di un impensabile e segreta Venezia. Ma i suoi segreti li abbiamo lasciati lì, dove li abbiamo trovati, sicuri che ancora il tempo li custodirà intatti. Lontano dal progresso divoratore e consumistica. Non è forse questo il fascino del passato? Non è forse questo tempo che passa senza divorare, il tempo che diventa bellezza?

It’s not sufficient to describe Venice just as a beautiful city, without doubt it has certainly enriched our culture. Cruising along the Venetian channels doesn’t mean only immersing yourself in its smells and flavours but you are also overwhelmed by its ruined walls and wonderful arabesques. All these things involve you as do the local people with their chanting of dialectic jokes, so commonly familiar. This is the culture that gives a beginning to a careful, authentic design, the same culture that provides craftsmen and then further on the industry that produces beauty and style. So with a brief journey to the heart of Venice we returned to the past pieces of traditional furniture; what scenery could be better than this one? Once we arrived within the heart of the city, we automatically came into close contact with the local people who showed us their warmest hospitality for our photo shoot, entering their court yards and amazing gate entrances which open up to a secret and remarkable Venice….However the secrets that we discovered, we left there, untouched exactly where we found them. With the guarantee that time will take care of them far away from destructive consumer progress. Isn’t this the most fascinating thing about the past? Maybe it’s time that passes by not capable of destroying: “time that becomes beauty”.

ARREDI DISEGNATI CON UN UNICO OBIETTIVO:

MASSIMA FLESSIBILITÀIdeata nel lontano 1985 dal fondatore di questa falegnameria d’arte, il signor Gianni Marchetti, che dopo due anni di sperimentazioni e prove mise in produzione una libreria completamente innovativa per la sua

flessibilità e facilità nella personalizzazione. Nuovo fu inoltre il concetto per il calcolo del prezzo della libreria che viene conteggiato ad assi al metro lineare, introducendo il concetto della libreria a misura e togliendo il sovraprezzo del su misura. Già alla fine degli anni ’80 fu un tal successo da modificare il ciclo produttivo della falegnameria per adeguarlo alle esigenze di questa parete attrezzata che prevede il premontaggio al grezzo. Più volte rinnovata, nel 2004 furono presentate le nuove interpretazioni della mitica FG 200 tra cui

eccelle la composizione 111 bis con l’armadietto NATURA.

Created in 1985 by the founder of this carpentry workshop of art, Mr. Gianni Marchetti, who after two years of experiments and tests, put into production a library completely new in its ability to transform itself to personal requirements and requests. Also, new the concept for calculating the price of the library which was

priced per meter. Introducing the concept of eliminating the made to measure price for a more convenient unit price. Even at the beginning of the 80’s there was such a huge success that production had to be modified to cope with the requests, seeing as this article needs to be premounted in the raw stage. Many times renewed,

in 2004 were presented the new version of the famous FG200, amongst the best seller is composition 111 bis with “NATURA” wardrobe.

Storica lavorazione senza tempo, l’intarsio. Il piano di questo tavolo, civettuolo e per niente scontato, impiega quattro essenze diverse per creare un trionfo di ricci e fiori stilizzati. Per ottenere una sfumatura scura, il bordo perimetrale è realizzato in noce canaletto mentre il nastro è in acero per i bordi e zebrano nell’interno. Noce canaletto, ciliegio e acero sono le essenze scelte per mettere in risalto i decori, mente il campo centrale a spina di pesce è in noce biondo per dar luce.

Timeless antique crafted inlay. The table top, original, and not obvious, using four types of wood to create a design of curls and flowers. To obtain a darker shade, the outside frame is made in “american walnut” meanwhile the inside is in “maple” for the border. And “zebrano” in the frame background. Walnut, cherry and maple are the elements that have been chosen to highlight the decorations, whilst the centre pieces are in blond fish boned walnut to illuminate.
