Dear Parent s,

I writ e this Friday's note en route to Taipei American School to watch the last day of t he Track and

Field competition and then to attend the IASAS Board Meeting. For those who are unaware of the

value or full impact of our IASAS membership, I can tell you it is immense. It is not j ust a sport ing

conference, but incorporates so much more with Dance and Jazz exchanges, Model Unit ed Nations,

Cult ural Convention and Jobs alike and the sharing of ideas and innovat ions, between the memberschools.

You can follow all of t his third athlet ic season on the www.iasas.asia website.

An event not to be missed will be Monday's opening of the IB Art Festival, followed by the ISM Film

Festival. These events are amazing in showcasing our incredible creative Bearcat talent. If you can't

make this event , t ry for t he HS Finale Concert on Friday the 20th.

Plans are of course well in hand for the end of the year events, including Senior Graduation, IB/ AP

Exams, Grade 9-11 Exams and for all of the Honors Awards Assemblies. Please keep abreast of these

dates as they are published. It would be great to see as many parents at these events as possible.

Right now, I have a plane to catch and athletes to support.
