Stress• Stress is a general term applied to various mental and

physiological pressures experienced by people feel in their lives. Stress has been defined in different ways over the years.

• Originally, it was conceived of as pressure from the environment, then as strain within the person. The generally accepted definition today is one of interaction between the situation and the individual.

AnalysisThe information about the work to be done is made well aware to the workforce and the objectives in the organization of the concerned department are also clear, quantitative and well commuted to every worker.

The organization is lacking focus upon maintaining good relationships among employees as there exist some strained relations and the organization may suffer for that.

The showroom managers are also overburdening the employees and imposing strict deadlines upon them as a result of which the employee satisfaction has been affected, which in turn can lead to decrease in the overall efficiency of the working of the affected workers. This problem can be solved by recruiting the required number of employees as there could be a problem of under-staffing in the organization.

The workforce, though coping with the issue of strained relations, still is cooperative and helping towards each other as their moral values should have been positively upright.

The organization lacks the involvement of employees in the decision making procedures and giving the workers some liberty as to the ways of doing their routine jobs. This can lead to the barricading creative and novel ideas from reaching the management from the ground level – workers.

Individual and organizational stress exists in the concerned organizations and can be seen by the existence of multiple medical problems among workers arising out of this stress.

ConclusionIn this research thesis, according to the above-mentioned analysis, conclusion and discussions it is clear that the employees suffer from stress both from individual and organizational front. Thus when they get in way with each other it creates a lot of stress, confusion and makes the situation ambiguous. The research conducted in an automobile showroom clearly specifies that no doubt the employees are aware about what managers and organization expects from them but still the employees feel overburdened which leads to great deal of stress. Also, no doubt it is a fact that it is not only from one end i.e. Organization but also comes from one’s own life i.e. individually. When the employee spends a lot of time reaching the desired goals, he spends less time at home that leads to problems of his life and also affects on his health. Thus, there is no doubt an existence of Individual and organizational stress but to what extent depends on the position in which he is working.

The research proves to be in-consonance with the objectives set before starting the research project. We have therefore come to the conclusion that there is no doubt an existence of Individual and organizational stress and that too in large extent as per the case study of this research project. And when the Individual and Organizational stress collides with each other it leads to a great amount of pressure on the minds of the employee that directly affects his work, health, mood etc. Thus, It is important to have a consonance with the Organizational work and personal or individual life in such a way that it does not collide or mix with each other. The work pressure should be according to the capacity of each employee, which he can easily handle with less amount of stress
