>HP Rated starters are priced andistocked less the overload relays. Theoverload relays can be ordered sepa-rately for field installation or they can befactory installed.Factory Installed Overload Relay:A) Select the appropriate overload relay

from the chart below. Then add thetwo digit suffix number (shown boldbelow) of the overload relay to thestarter Catalog Number. See exam-ple shown. If the motor FLA is not

known, refer to Application DataSection for a typical value.

B) Add the price of the overload relay tothe starter price to obtain the com-plete list price.

Example: Th Hp at 460 volts, 1800RPM, 9.7 FLA The starter CatalogNumber would be SXLHB1460 The over-load relay would be a 3UA5000-1K Addthe suffix "IK" to the end of the starterCatalog Number SXLHB14601K $238.00+ $72.00 = $310.00 Total List Price.

Type "3UA" Overload Relay SettingInstructions:For motors with a service factor of1.00, multiply motor nameplate full loadcurrent (FLA) by 0.92 and set overloadrelay dial to that value.For motors with a service factor of1.15, with a marked temperature risenot exceeding 40°C, set dial to full loadcurrent marked on motor nameplate.
