As we explain each strategy, write its description in its bubble.

Then you will add bubbles that go with each strategy as we talk them in relation to the iPod.

FUNCTION

Paragraphs using the function strategy demonstrate how the concept functions or operates in the real world.

EXAMPLE

NEGATION

Paragraphs using the negation strategy explain what something IS by showing what it IS NOT. Using negation helps to contrast your definition with others’ definitions.

So… what IS NOT (or NEGATES) an iPod? (add a bubble for each) An iPod is not a phone. An iPod is not a laptop or PC. An iPod is not a camera. An iPod is not a babysitter.
