How To Wiki1. Go to Wikispaces.com.2. Enter a username and password in the box. You may want to use your own email rather than University.

3. The pop up box below will appear. Enter a wiki name how do you want others to find it - something.wikispaces.com think before you type!

Select protected so the general public cant edit your site.

Select K12 from drop down box to remove adverts from your site. Once complete select Create.

4. Close the following pop up screen:

5. You are now ready to enter text into your page - Select Edit.

6. First Delete text that is on page.7. Task 1 enter some text and use toolbar to change fonts etc.

8. Task 2 Insert a picture by selecting the picture icon on the toolbar. You have three options:a. Insert Files this is pictures that you have already uploaded (at the moment that will be none!).b. Upload files upload a file that you have in your computer.c. External Image if you know the website address of an image then paste in here.

9. Task 3 Insert a movie go to Youtube and select an appropriate video and copy the embedded code. Back in your wiki select the TV icon from the tool bar. The following pop up menu will appear. Select the other option and paste the embedded code into the blank box and save. You can only see the video on your page when you save the wikispace and come out of edit mode.
