How to Take the PERT from Home
If you have all of the required technology mentioned above, you can take the PERT with
a remote proctoring service.
High school students seeking Dual Enrollment must contact their guidance counselor to
begin the registration process for the PERT.
All other prospective students needing to take the PERT can go to
https://www2.registerblast.com/chipola/Exam/List. Scheduling and paying for your
appointment will begin the registration process for the PERT.

On Test Day…
1. Go to: https://chipola.instructure.com/login/canvas
Enter information that was provided in your email and click on “Log In”.
3
2. Click on “Courses” on the left side and find your PERT exam.
3. Read instructions and expectations carefully before clicking on “Start Test” at the bottom of your screen. By continuing, you are agreeing to abide by these rules.
Find your test and click on the blue “Launch” button. Honorlock will open in
another tab.
4
4. Click on “Launch Proctoring”.
5
5. Honorlock will open and ask to take your picture with your webcam. After
taking your picture, accept the picture—if the photo is blurry or too dark it
may ask you to retake the picture. If you are taking the test and you have a
driver’s license or passport then go to step 6.
Prospective Dual Enrollment students- If you do not have a photo ID and
made arrangements to take your test without a photo ID, then you will not
see this step and will continue to step 7.
6
6. This screen asks to take a picture of the ID. Click “I have my ID!” hold your ID up
to the monitor and take the picture. Be sure there is good lighting and your camera
is in focus, otherwise it will not accept the picture. After you take the picture,
confirm the picture is good and move on to the next step.
7
7. Another side screen will appear and ask you do to a room scan. Do a 360˚ scan
of your area, showing your desk and any scratch paper you are using.
You are allowed to have 2 sheets of scratch paper and a pencil. You may also have
your login information written down for easy access.
8. You will be asked to review your scan then submit.
8
9. Scroll down the page until you get to the section labeled Instructions from your
Professor. Click on the link:
https://college.measuredsuccess.com/mscollege/do/log.
9
10. College Success will ask you to login using the same credentials used to sign in
to Canvas. Once you’ve entered your username (which will be an email address)
and password click “Sign In.”
11. After signing in, College Success will require an assignment password. Click “Insert Password” on the side screen underneath the video display of your testing area. Honorlock will enter the password remotely and you will hit submit.
10
12. Before clicking submit, be sure there is a red dot in the corner of your video indicating that recording has begun.

11
NOTE*** Failure to follow these steps closely before clicking submit may cause you to be kicked out of the session and the check-in process will restart. 13. After submitting the password your test will begin. You can minimize the
camera at any time, it will continue to record even if it is not visible on the screen.
If you are taking the math section you are allowed two sheets of scratch paper and
a pencil. Gather these before sitting down to test. You must remain seated for the
duration of the test. Scratch paper must be destroyed before session concludes.
14. After submitting the final section of your PERT test, you will need to exit the
Honorlock browser. You can do so by clicking the “Exit Honorlock” button found at
the bottom of the window. You will receive a message that says “Finishing up and
saving. Just a moment. Thank you for using Honorlock.” Once you see this message
your testing has been successfully completed and no further action is required.

The official PERT score report will be emailed to you after the video of your test
session has been reviewed. Contact the Testing Center at (850)718-2284 or
[email protected] if you have any questions.
Good luck!
