How to T-Shoot L2 Ethernet to the House (aka Fiber to the house – most of the homes on Mella Dr.) 1. Check SAT for their connection status. 2. If not online – check the logs to see when the last time they were online was. If the connections short and frequent – the combo unit is likely close to death. 3. Check Teds Pubshare for the LaMel excel spreadsheet. Match the user by phone number. 4. Locate the System, Splitter, and the Pigtail on the LaMel excel spreadsheet 5. In CMS navigate to System_4 AMAC 002 (CHARLESTON)N2-(Shelf)1- (OLTG-4E)12-(GPON)2-(ONT)18- (GE)01 6. Check to see if service is on or off in provisioning. Check Cross connects>VC, and also if there is a session in subscriber>ppphost. 7. All Mella Dr. customers are on L2 Ethernet to the House – and if any cross connects need to be made – notified Ted. 8. Any change of service on any of the LaMel Heights customers on Teds Spreadsheet.
