  • How to setup QuickSPC to export data in

    TEXTor EXCEL®-compatible

    format

  • 1) Open Gage Explorer and select“Data Transfer”

    2) Click on “START”

  • STEP #1

    Selecting Data Files & Filter type

  • METHOD #1

    • Select Filter

    • MOVE or Drag & Drop data filesbetween panes

  • 1) Select the desired filter

  • 2) Press button• “Move selected” to move one data file ata time from left to right pane

    OR• Drag & Drop data file(s) from left paneto right pane

    OR• “Move all” to move all data files fromleft pane to right pane

  • Click here to move one data file

    Click here to move all data files

  • 3) Verify filter choice

  • METHOD #2

    • Modify individual data files

  • 3) Select the data file that you wantstored as either TXT or CSV

  • 4) Right Click on the data file

    5) Click on “change filter”

  • 6) Select the desired filter

  • 7) Press OK

  • 8) Verify filter choice

  • STEP #2

    Specifying:

    • DATA FORMAT

    • TRIGGERS

  • 9) Click on ICON

  • 10) Double Click on format

  • 11) Select the desired fields tobe stored inside the file -

    SEE IMPORTANT NOTEON NEXT SLIDE

  • IMPORTANT NOTEThe maximum number of columns allowed in Excel

    is 256 !Therefore, the following formula applies:

    (Number of characteristic columns) x

    (Number of measurements) +

    1 for date & time---------------------------------------------

    must be less than 256

  • Column A

    Column B

    Column C

    Column D

    Column E

    Column F

    Column G

    Column H

    Column I

    Column J

  • 12) Click on Triggers tab

    Be sure you have at least one Trigger programmed,otherwise

    13) Right click inside this Window

    14) Select “New”

  • 15) Use “Trigger Wizard” toprogram a trigger

  • 16) SAVE

  • 17) Click on Data Apply
