SAP Program SAPGUI 7.30 on Windows - Installation Instructions

Introduction

This document explains the steps to install SAPGUI 7.30 Package for Users of SAP.

The installation steps are to be followed for installing any of the GUI packages (End User, End User + Custom Reporting) downloaded from the web.

If you have a previous SAP GUI Version (7.20) on the system, uninstall is not required. You can directly upgrade to version 7.30. In case you want to uninstall the previous version please take a look at the Uninstall document provided.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Restart your computer prior to the SAP GUI installation to ensure that the logon pad or any SAP applications are open on the computer

Install Downloaded SAPGUI 7.30 – User Software (New and Existing User)

1. Double click on the downloaded SAP GUI 7.30 package to start installation.

2. After double clicking, a popup will display .Click Yes. If the popup is not displayed, please proceed with step 3:

3. After double clicking, a self-extractor will start followed by a popup.

4. Click Next.

5. After clicking NEXT, the following screen appears.

6. Select the checkbox as shown in the red box below.

7. After ticking the checkbox, click Next.

8. After clicking Next, the following progress screen appears.

9. Please let the installation complete. The installation should take around 5-10 minutes.

10. Once installation is complete, the below window appears. Click Close.

11. Connect to https://sap.accenture.com

12. Click on necessary link to start SAP GUI.

13. SAP GUI should be opened.
