METABOLISM MATTERS “My worth is unconditional.” I consider myself beautiful no matter what, because I fully and completely love and accept myself. There are no preconditions for this self acceptance. Even though my destination is worthwhile, I am just as worthy during the journey as I will be when it’s finished. “I am my own best friend.” There are enough critics in my world, and I do not need to be one of them. I forgive myself for not having the foresight to understand that which is now so obvious in hindsight, and I choose to grow from my past mistakes. “I am worth taking care of.” I deserve a little time each day to do something beneficial for my mind and body. I refuse to sacrifice my personal daily needs. I wash my face, work out, eat healthy and get enough sleep because I am worth it. In order to love yourself, it is important to know yourself. Be sure to test your VO 2 Max and Resting Metabolic Rate so that you are creating a plan based on your unique needs. HOW TO FORTIFY YOUR SELF-ESTEEM

When adopting a wellness plan, it is so easy to have your confidence shattered each time you go to the gym or take a trip to the beach. In a day and age where we constantly compare ourselves to other people, we will have days when it seems like we will never be enough. To succeed at your wellness plan, it is important to make sure your self-esteem is fortified so that you can be prepared for the difficult times. Here is a script you can read out loud whenever you know it’s going to get tough.

METABOLISM MATTERS

—

“My  worth  is  unconditional.”    I  consider  myself  beautiful  no  matter  what,  because  I  fully  and  completely  love  and  accept  myself.  There  are  no  pre-‐conditions  for  this  self-‐acceptance.

I  choose  self-‐kindness.  I  choose  to  be  my  own  biggest  hero  –  because  I  deserve  it.

“I  stick  to  the  facts.”    I  recognize  that  jumping  to  extremes  (“I’m  stupid”  or  “I’m  such  a  screw-‐up”)  will  eventually  lead  to  anxiety  and  depression.  Instead  of  passing  judgement  on  myself,  I  choose  to  view  life  rationally.

“I  have  no  ‘If  Only’  excuses.”    I  recognize  that  the  past  will  never  change,  and  that  I  only  have  control  over  what’s  next.

Target Tips | 1 June | 2019

In  order  to  love  yourself,  it  is  important  to  know  yourself.  Be  sure  to  test  your  VO2  Max  and  Resting  Metabolic  Rate  so  that  you  are  creating  a  plan  based  on  your  unique  needs.  Then

focus  on  following  your  plan  on  the  CardioCoach  and  Metabolic

Meal  Plan  app  instead  of  comparing  yourself  to  other

people.
