How to download a paper from an electronic journal

Assuming you’re on the A-Z list of journals

The A-Z list gives you basic information about each journal

For example, the journal Heart

This information includes the name of the supplier

• Heart - BMJ , Oct 1997 - , All NHS Athens

In the case of Heart the supplier is the BMJ group

Alternatively,

• Journal of allied health ProQuest , Apr 2002 - , All NHS Athens

In this second example the supplier is Proquest.

Select the supplier of the

journal you wish to read from the list below to see a short presentation showing how to

Enter your Athens details and click Login

A list of available issues appears and the information at the top right of the screen shows that you’ve logged in

The contents appear and you can select the paper you want
