How to Create Winning

Pinterest Designs

Want more FREE traffic from Pinterest? In this video, you’ll learn how to create winning Pinterest

designs that will get more clicks to your products!

Pinterest can be a great traffic source for your products. Certain styles, colors, and layouts get noticed

and shared more than others.

In this training video you will learn:

– Example of winning pin designs

– How to save and manage the pins you create

– Why longer pins work better

– What style of pins get the most engagement and why

– The psychology of a winning pin

– How to create pins that get shares, sales, and repins

– The two-image layout example

– The three-image layout example

– And so much more

Like we explained in a previous guide, we’ll be using Canva.com to create pins.

Log into your Canva account. (If you don’t have a Canva account, go ahead and create your free account.)

Longer pins attract more attention in newsfeeds, so we highly recommend you use longer pins.

We will use custom dimensions for longer pins.

Click “Use custom dimensions” in top right corner.

Enter your desired dimensions and click “Design!”

(700px to 1500 or any higher dimension you like)

Canva will create a blank pin like this.

Pick a layout for your pin on the left.

A Few Recommended Tips:

– We recommend you use two-tier and three-tier layouts, because you can show multiple products at the same time with different angles

– Use bright, clear images for your pins, because bright colors grab more attention

– Adding the same image of a product twice in a two-tier layout has worked really well for us

– Make your pins interesting and give people a reason to click on them

– If you’re using apparel products, it’s a good idea to showcase a model wearing your product in the first image and then a picture of the product itself in the second image. Using people in your pins can make them more interesting. You can also use two different product colors to show some contrast

– Always split test to find out what works best for your audience

– In a three- layout, you can try three different colors.

In the end, it all depends on your audience; for example:

– Two- and three-tier layouts have worked great for us

– Purple and pink color product pins have worked great for our audience
