The Admissions Committee will not make a final decision on your application until all application materials are received. Application Due Date: November 15, 2018 – Early Action January 15, 2019 – Regular Decision How to Apply for Financial Aid In order to apply for other types of financial aid, a prospect must complete the FAFSA application at www.FAFSA.gov. The 2018-19 FAFSA (Free Applicable for Federal Student Aid) is available on October 1, 2018. Application Due Date: February 15, 2019 Once the Saint Mary’s College Financial Aid Department receives the FAFSA, they will review the application and apply any applicable need-based aid to the prospect’s account. How do International Students Apply to Saint Mary’s College Your application packet must include the following:

1. Common Application and $60 USD application fee.

2. Official copies of any examination results (IB, SAT, ACT, WAEC, SPM, STMP, etc.) (The SAT school code for Saint Mary’s is 004675 and for the ACT it is 0386)

3. Official secondary school or college transcripts, mark sheets or other academic records, with a certified English translation

4. One academic letter of recommendation

5. Official TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB, PTE, EIKEN, or ELS Level 112 (Passing scores: TOEFL 213CBT/550PBT/79iBT, IELTS 6.5, Michigan Test 77%, PTE 53, EIKEN Grade Pre-1, and ELS Level 112 with 2.75GPA). Learn more about the English proficiency exam results. Tests must have been taken within the last 2 years.

6. Certification of Finances Form. Please remember to provide an original bank statement or a stamp letter from your bank official. This document should be submitted along with the admissions application to expedite I-20 student visa turnaround. Please note that we will enclose the I-20 student visa in the acceptance packet if the Certificate of Finance is submitted with the admissions application.

7. Students transferring from universities in other nations must furnish professional evaluations of their educational credentials. Saint Mary’s recommends the services of the Foundation for International Services, Inc.

8. Copy of current passport photo page

9. Once accepted, international students must submit a fully completed Medical History Form to the Health & Wellness Center. Form must include up-to-date immunization information as indicated. No substitute form will be accepted.

How do Transfers Apply to Saint Mary’s College Transfer applicants are required to submit the following:

1. A completed Common Application with an Essay - Personal Statement, Saint Mary's specific questions, and two additional short essays. All of these are found and submitted online at www.commonapp.org.

2. Final high school transcripts 3. Official transcripts of all college work. Official transcripts must be submitted for all colleges or

universities attended whether the student completed the term(s) or not. 4. A letter of recommendation is highly encouraged, but not required.
