How to access RBdigital Magazines App on a Kindle Fire Device.

To use the RBdigital Magazine service you will need to create an account on the RBdigital Magazine website. To do so please navigate to https://www.rbdigital.com/scottishborders/service/magazines/ and follow the below instructions. If you already have an account please log into the app with your current login details.

1. Once on the website click on Create New Account 2. Enter your library card number and press Next.

3. Then fill out further information and click Create Account.

Once you have created an account an email will be sent to the address you registered with confirming your account and you will be logged into your new account.

1. Once you have created your account on the RBdigital Magazine website, go to your App store on your device.

2. Search for RBdigital in your app store and then click on the yellow Buy from Amazon Appstorebutton.

4. Choose your country, enter your username or email address and press NEXT

5. Then enter your password and press NEXT

3. Then click on DOWNLOAD.Once downloaded find the app on your device and open.

Once in the app you will land on your checked out magazine page.

By clicking on the Menu button this will bring you to the Menu bar.

Clicking on Magazines will show you the magazines available from your library.

Clicking on CHECKED OUTwill show you all your current checked out Magazines.

You can add multiple profiles and toggle between them.

You have the option to view your magazine history.

To checkout a magazine simply press CHECKOUT.

Once checked out you will see this pop up message, tick the box if you want to be notified of when the next issue is available.

You will now have the option to READ or DOWNLOAD. If you press read it will a let you read the magazine and automatically download.

If you click on DOWNLOAD you will see a percentage bar appear.

Once download is complete it will show clearly as below.

You are able to sort you magazines by date checked out, A-Z or Z-A.

To return your magazine simply click on the X located at the top right hand corner of the magazine.

Once you have pressed the X you will get a pop up message notifying that the magazine has been returned.
