If nothing matched, it would not make sense and confuse the viewer. Making our whole media products look unprofessional, and if it looked unprofessional, the channel and the viewers would be uninterested in our porduction.

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

It is extremely important that all of our media products connect with each other in different way. If nothing matched, it would

not make sense and confuse the viewer. Making our whole media products look unprofessional, and if it looked

unprofessional, the channel and the viewers would be uninterested in our porduction.

• If our poster did not match the documentary, for example, it could be a field with animals on it. Now that doesn’t match the subject matter of the documentary. Music, Live bands, the Music industry.

• Our poster makes complete sense to the subject matter, and title of our documentary. As you can see on the image provided, it shows the band walking down a long road. Now that makes a direct link to the title, “the K’s Road To Stardom”.

• The surroundings and atmospher of the image is quite dull and dreary. This reflects the struggle the four people in theimage have to go through.

• The title Is quite bold and stands out. Which is what we wantour documentary to do. The title is also pink, because pink isthe main colour for BBC Three and HMV. So it relates to thatinstantly.

The Opening title of the Radio Advert is, “The K’s”, Being Being shouted in a loud, big venue representing a big gig. It is then followed by the opening set of one of the K’s songsWhich makes it obviously about music, and this band in particular.

The opening music in This ad is exactly theSame as the musicIn the documentaryOpening title. This is to relate the Two together instantlySo that people will Understand When they watch theDocumentary. Having the radio trailer on youtube,

Or as if it was on the online radioStation, using it with the poster would Instantly Show the listener what the Documentary could possibly be about. People can also see when and where it Showed so that if they miss what is said At the end they can refer to the image.

We dont have a voice over For our documentary. So finding one to fit the style of documentary would be hard because we had nothing to relate it to. So we thought we would seek out an over powering voice, and make it seem very dominant. This is so you get the idea that the documentary with be a powerful, possibly moving documentary. Which entices people to come and watch it.
