Portals of Prayer Please pick up your Portals of Prayer for April–June in the Fellowship Room as you leave today. We understand that some of you take multiple books for your family, friends, etc. That’s great! Take one for you and please share them with others also. To help make sure that everyone gets a book and that we have some to share, we are increasing the number of books that we order. Along with this, we ask that you consider giving a small offering in the box that is next to the devotional books. With our group subscription, we are able to get the books for about $1 each/quarter. If you are able to give in relation to the number of books you take, that’s great. (1 book - $1, 3 books - $3, etc.) If you can’t give right now, PLEASE still take the devotionals and share them. Even a small offering will allow us to order and share more of God’s Word.
Easter Cards - During this busy season, please don’t forget our shut-ins. Easter Cards are pre-addressed and ready for you to “add a little love and a stamp”. Here is your opportunity to bless our shut-ins with a card of remembrance. Any questions please contact Judy Woolard 636-677-6045
There are address lists available if you would like to send Easter greeting on your own on the table in the Friendship Room.

Stewardship Corner - Palm Sunday - Philippians 2:5-11 On this Palm Sunday, we ponder the humble entrance
of Jesus into Jerusalem, where He was welcomed with praise and respect by those who believed in Him, His miracles, and His teachings, but rebuked by the Pharisees. We are told that our attitude “should be the same as that of Christ Jesus...” who “made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant...humbled Himself and became obedient to death-even death on the cross!” It is difficult for us to imagine ourselves being able to make the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us, to live the perfect life of Jesus in a world in which corruption is seen daily on television screens and newspapers and heard on radios. Selfishness seems to run rampant, and selflessness seems non-existent, if we believe in the media. How do we begin modeling our lives after that of Christ, our Servant Leader and King? The answers are found in God’s inspired Word, and by managing our spiritual life through regularly reading and studying scripture. We can walk the humble path of life just as Jesus entered Jerusalem on a colt on Palm Sunday so many years ago.
‘Spirit of Hope' There will be no March Meeting. Look for more information about April’s gathering at Bandanas.
