The Thomas Rhys Vickroy Society
Lebanon Valley College has been shaping the lives of students for years withhelp from those who believe, like Thomas Rhys Vickroy, our founding president,in its mission of service through knowledge.
Alumni and friends who are members of the Vickroy Society demonstrate outstanding leadership in support of Lebanon Valley College. During the past academic year, Vickroy Society members provided more than 1.3 million dollars in financial resources for all Lebanon Valley College programs.
Membership in the Vickroy Society is open to all alumni and friends of the College on an annual basis. The Society recognizes gifts of $1,000 and abovegiven to the College for any purpose during each academic year. Membership isavailable in the following categories:
Trustees’ Associate: A gift of $10,000 and above
Five Founders’ Circle: A gift of $5,000 to $9,999
President’s Circle: A gift of $2,500 to $4,999
The 1866 Circle: A gift of $1,866 to $2,499
Society Associate: A gift of $1,000 to $1,865
Laureate Society: Recognizes those whose gifts to the College, made during their lifetime or posthumously, total $1,000,000 or more
Lifetime Vickroy Associates: Recognizes those whose cumulative lifetime giving totals $100,000 or more
Provisional Lifetime Vickroy Associates: Recognizes those who execute a pledgeinstrument that will, when completed within a seven-year period of time, bring them to $100,000 cumulative lifetime giving
Vickroy GOLD Society: Recognizes Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) asVickroy Society members for a reduced amount, dependent upon the number of years since graduation
Note: Active memberships may be fulfilled with gifts of cash, securities, real estate, or other property. This Honor Roll recognizes Vickroy Society members whose gifts were made during the academic year July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, and includes annual, capital, and endowment gifts.

THE LAUREL WREATH
The laurel wreath has long been a symbol of honor and excellence. In ancient Greece it was awarded to scholars, artists, athletes, and
soldiers to recognize achievement. Since 1906, the wreath has been an integral part of the College seal.
Members of The Thomas Rhys Vickroy Society have demonstratedoutstanding leadership in support of Lebanon Valley College. The laurel wreath has been chosen as the symbol of the Vickroy Society to honor the achievements of this special group and the exceptional
generosity they have shown to LVC.
