“For the 45th reunion of the Class of ’68 we wanted to initiate a project to both honor a distinguished classmate and touch favorably future generations of students of the college. We chose to secure the naming rights for the courtroom in the new building for College of

Law. It will be named to honor Sandra S. Beckwith, who served as Chief Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. So far we have raised over $1,300,000 but we’re not finished. It’s a class project, so our goal is to have as many of our classmates as

possible participate with us.”
