Home Care Resource Services of Nevada 2017 fundraiser for Elder HelpLv will be a fun filled event with live entertainment to raise money for our Thanksgiving Feed a senior event, and Our Annual Adopt A Senior for Christmas event. And to increase its community presence in hopes of offering more free resources and information to seniors and their families in the Las Vegas Valley. Elder HelpLv is dedicated to matching pre-screened providers with seniors to enhance their quality of life. Our volunteers work in many ways to discover the needs of seniors and use the resources of our preferred providers to assist them through one-on-one surveys, the only centralized 24 hour senior resource hotline, community events, weekly newsletter, and the Elder HelpLv Senior Connection television show. We also facilitate a Senior Emergency Housing Program within our Curcarlin House which aids those in need of temporary housing.

Elder HelpLv volunteers work in many ways to discover the needs of seniors and use the resources of their Preferred Provider Network to assist them through one-on-one surveys, a centralized 24 hour senior resource hotline, monthly community events, a weekly newsletter reaching over 5,000 recipients and the Curcarlin House which provides Senior Emergency Housing.

Over 250,000 seniors reside in the Las Vegas Valley and many are in dire need for information. Elder HelpLv believes it’s not enough to have the information, but to go out in to the community and give the information to those in need. As the number of seniors they assist grows so, does the demand for additional resources. Since 2014 Elder HelpLv has hosted a series of senior information resource fairs within the 19 Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority Senior properties along with additional programs with our partners all with the goal of reaching those in need.

We are also providing support of the efforts of The Musical Arts Scholarship Program that provides free instruction to deserving youth between the ages of 5 - 24 on the student's instrument of choice and/or with voice lessons. Recipients will also participate (at no cost to them) in live stage shows to gain performing experience
