Obituary
On October 28, 2019, Edna Mae White Teasley heard
the welcome voice say “Come” as she transitioned from her
earthly life. Edna was born to the parents of Lizzie Mae Rucker
White and the late Isom White on August 30, 1953 in Royston,
GA.
On October 30, 1972, she married the love of her life Mr.
Richard Teasley. To this union five girls were born.
Edna was a dedicated member of the Royston Grove Baptist
Church. She loved the Lord and made her “election sure” over
30 years.
For 30 plus years Edna was employed at Brown Convalescent
Center and The Gables as a CNA. She was a member of Bow-
man Enterprise Eastern Star Chapter.
Preceding her in death were her father, Isom White, one sister,
four brothers, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Edna leaves a large loving family to cherish her memory; her
husband Richard Teasley; five daughters: CaTinia Kinsler
(Demetrius), Trena Teasley, Toinette Harris (Paul), Trinette
Spencer (Ian) and Taren Teasley; extended children: Keaira
Dudley (Marcavius), Kim Oglesby (Arthur), Shanda Heard
(Jokendall), Ronika Johnson (Alex), Bonita Gray, Kwydrecus
White, and Demetrius Teasley; mother Mrs. Lizzie Mae Rucker

Bonnie Smith (Robert), Connie White, Peggy Berryman (Bobby)
and Gladys Partlow (Johnny); sister-in-law, JoAnn Mangham
(Willie); brothers-in-law: Thomas Teasley (Bobbie) and Donnie
Teasley (Linda); godson Jamarcus Teasley; nine grandchildren:

Antreyvian Willis, Sanai Teasley, Trinitee and Isom Spencer; nine
extended grandchildren; special nephew Bruce Berryman of Orlan-
do, FL; and a host of nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
Tribute
Edna heard the Voice of Jesus
“I am this dark world’s light.
Look unto me, thy morn shall rise,
And all thy day be bright.”
She “looked to Jesus, and” she “found
In Him” her “star” her “sun”
And in that Light of life “she walked”
Now “traveling days are done.”
