If you have not yet made your pledge to the Cardinal’s Appeal, please consider making your commit- ment today. 2017 COMMUNITY YOUTH FISHING TRIPS Registration Forms for the above are available in the church lobby. This program is for boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 15. You must be a resident of New Rochelle and signed permission slips must be received by the officer in charge of the trip. Trips for August 2nd and August 9th are still available. CAREER OPORTUNITY The Knights of Columbus is seeking a candidate for a career opportunity representing their insurance program. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION Holy Name of Jesus School of Religious Education is now taking applications for the 2017/2018 school year. Grades K-7 will find a Registration Form on our website:www.hnjparish.com (under Faith Formation). The Registration Forms can be sent back via email to:[email protected] or mailed to Catherine Francese, 75 Lispenard Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801. Registrations will not be taken or accepted on the first day of Sunday School. SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN Please know that all children are welcome to be part of Religious Education here at Holy Name of Jesus. If you have a child with special needs, they are welcome and we will work with you and your family to find an educational format that best meets the needs of your child. If you have any questions, call Catherine Francese, Coordinator of Religious Education, at 914-576-6038. FYI The Family Life/Respect Life Office of the Archdiocese of New York is looking for a Family Life Coordinator for Bereavement/ Consolation. The person in this position will plan, coordinate, and administer the Pastoral Bereavement Program of the Family Life/Respect Life (FLRL) Office. Masters Degree in Pastoral Ministry, Psychology/ Counseling or Theology/Religious Studies preferred. Proficiency in using all Microsoft Office appli- cations (Word, Excel PowerPoint,Outlook), and an openness to learning new technologies to enhance our outreach. The person must also have a valid New York State Driver’s license and car, and be willing to travel throughout the archdiocese and to collaborate with departments and agencies with the chancery, the archdiocese and beyond.
