(Verses are ESV) The Church is God’s Agency!

Matthew 16:18

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my

church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

God calls you into the ministry to b God’s Kingdom.

What are you doing to build God’s kingdom?

Galatians 6:9-10

(9) And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due

season we will reap, if we do not give up. (10) So then, as we

have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and

especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Synonyms for the word “Agent” is: manager, mediator,

negotiator, representative, cause, driving force, or

instrument.

The Manager is G ! Psalm 46:10

“Be still, and know that I am God.

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth!”

Psalm 77:13-14

(13) Your way, O God, is holy.

What god is great like our God?

(14) You are the God who works

wonders; you have made known your

might among the peoples.

1 John 1:5…

The Mediator and the Cause is C ! 1Timothy 2:5

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between

God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

Hebrews 9:15

Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so

that those who are called may receive the promised eternal

inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them

from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

The Driving Force and the Negotiator is the Holy Spirit!

John 14:15-17

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

(15) “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (16) And I

will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be

with you forever, (17) even the Spirit of truth, whom the world

cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You

know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

John 16:13-15…

The representative and the instrument is __________________! 2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness,

but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but

that all should reach repentance.

Synonyms for the word “Representative” is: envoy, delegate,

agent, spokesperson, diplomat, ambassador or courier.

Matthew 22:9-10

(9) Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding

feast as many as you find.’ (10) And those servants went out into

the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and

good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon

you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea

Clothed to be His “Representative”:

His envoy,

His delegate,

His agent,

His spokesperson,

His diplomat,

His ambassador, and

His courier!

Thanksgiving Baskets for Needy - Collecting - Due Nov.11 You can start bringing items in and dropping them off in the sanctuary.

We are sponsoring 50 families for Thanksgiving. We will be collecting the items and then assembling dinner baskets as a church family. Items needed - boxed mashed potatoes, canned corn, canned green beans, canned sweet potatoes, canned cranberry sauce, packets of gravy, boxed stuffing and canned pumpkin.

Collection of Pill Bottles -

Please donate your old pill bottles (please remove name) to

help disperse medicine in Africa. Doctors with Medical

Missions of Manassas will bring them with them on their

mission trips. Place bottles in back of sanctuary in blue box.
