We have listened to your feedback regarding communication with parents and hope this weekly e-newsletter will help create a regular channel of information and news about what’s happening in our school. As you can see from this week’s newsletter, there is an array of opportunities and activities your child can be involved in and we strongly encourage all our pupils to participate in an extra-curricular activity and engage fully in the life of Holy Cross. We are delighted to congratulate Mr John Riley on his Headship appointment to St Chad’s RC Primary School and look forward to working with him. Our visit to Italy was a huge success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. If you have any comments suggestions about our newsletter please email [email protected] Visit to Northern France 25 - 27 June 2015 We look forward to welcoming parents of participating pupils to our Information Evening which will take place in school at 6 pm Tuesday 2 June 2015. Any outstanding reply slips for this event, along with any outstanding EHIC cards should be sent to school at the earliest convenience. The evening will provide you with further information about the planned itinerary along with essential practical details. In the meantime, any queries should be directed to Miss Marcroft or Miss Cuvillier in the MFL Department due to Mrs Gaughan's imminent maternity leave. Maths Puzzle of the Week For all year groups. Copies of the puzzle can be found in all Maths rooms and the entry box is in Room 23. The deadline for entries is Thursday every week. See Mr Buckley for further information. Dance Competition on Thursday 23 April 6 - 8 pm at Parklands High School – see Mrs Mitchell for details. Year 9 Boys 7 a-side Competition (2 teams) at St John Rigby College, Wigan.
