Rituals define what is important to us. Dedicate the opening and closing of each day to your self-care and it will soon become a sacred act. The Detox + Glow beauty ritual is as simple as it is sweet, with products designed to cleanse, balance, and restore harmony to your skin. Follow these steps morning and evening:

Start with dry skin and dry hands. Warm 1-2 pumps of Vitamin B Cleansing Oil between your hands and massage onto a dry face with slow, firm motions. Massage upward and outward with your fingertips, adding warm water as needed. Rinse clean.

Apply Skin Dew Coconut Water Cream over a clean face and neck in gentle, upward strokes.

Spot treat additional dry areas and lips with a tiny amount of Skin Savior Balm.

For a deeper cleanse and mild exfoliation, apply Vitamin B Cleansing Oil, then press

a warm washcloth to your face and let it cool. Gently remove excess cleanser with

A DETOX CLEANSING RITUAL FOR YOUR FACE

Masque RitualsIs your skin looking dull, lackluster and like its best days are long gone? The Detox Masque Ritual is meant to clarify your complexion while nourishing your skin. Special ingredients like charcoal, rich rose clay and aloe vera mean this non-drying formula leaves skin feeling refreshed, soft and healthy-looking, with a natural glow.

1. Apply a thick, even layer of Love + Charcoal Masque to clean, dry skin

2. Leave the masque on for 10–15 minutes

The Moisture Masque Ritual is designed to deliver serious hydration for healthier, more supple-looking skin. An antioxidant-rich blend of organic coconut oil, mango butter, jojoba and chia means this intensely moisturizing treatment is the perfect solution to illuminate your skin with TLC.

1. Work a nickel-sized amount of Skin Savior Balm onto your face

2. Apply a warm, damp cloth over it

3. Cover the damp cloth with a dry hand towel and leave on for 3–5 minutes

I’m excited to share my secrets to eating well for beautiful skin. While this is by no means a rule book, I urge you to experiment and see how these tips work for you. Filled with beauty foods, this guide is sure to have you on the road to glowing skin in no time.

Suzanne’s Guide to Eating Beautifully

1. Make water your drink of choice. Add a fresh lemon or lime wedge for some natural vitamin C. Unsweetened herbal teas are excellent to get extra flavor and nutrients, but limit caffeinated teas and coffee to 1-2 cups in the morning only. Caffeine can raise the stress hormone cortisol and we want your body to relax as much as possible for beautiful results.

2. Cut out dairy, sugar, alcohol and grains as much as possible for better skin. These foods may cause chronic, low-level inflammation that can lead to a host of skin issues. Try eating less of these for happier skin.

3. Add raw or lightly cooked leafy greens and/or herbs to each meal. The vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in foods like kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cilantro and basil support your skin with powerful nutrients for boosting a youthful glow.

4. Enjoy healthy fats. Avocados, extra virgin olive oil, coconut milk, and 85%+ dark chocolate (yes, chocolate!) are full of moisturizing essential fatty acids that nourish the skin from the inside out.

5. Choose clean protein sources. Wild-caught fish, pastured or grass-fed meats, and organic, free-range eggs are my proteins of choice.

6. Eat a handful of your favorite nuts and/or seeds daily to boost levels of vitamin E, one of the most important antioxidants for skin health.

7. Eat a variety of non-starchy vegetables. Go wild on foods like greens, peppers, broccoli and cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and asparagus. Limit vegetables that grow in the ground (sweet potatoes, yams, squash, beets, carrots, turnips, etc.) to keep blood sugar levels even.

8. Drink bone broth. This age-old remedy has stood the test of time as an excellent source of collagen and minerals. It also tastes delicious and is a great way to use food scraps and reduce waste. I love to drink a mug of warm broth as an afternoon snack.

Sleep Like a Queen

1. Choose a low sugar, low glycemic diet.

2. Keep your room a cool 67-69 degrees at night.

3. Use a sleep mask to block out light and to help your body produce melatonin, a hormone that regulates your sleep cycle.

4. Use a fan or white noise machine to block out offensive noises and soothe you to sleep.

5. Enjoy a warm magnesium drink or take a magnesium supplement in the evenings.

6. Use your bed for two things only: sleep and sex! This way, when you go to bed, your body gets a powerful cue: it’s time to sleep (or have a little fun)!

Create wellness and joy by applying the Danish concept of hygge – or coziness – to your bedroom and transform it into an oasis of well-being and peaceful sleep.

Dim the lights in the evenings to prepare your body for sleep.

Wrap yourself in cozy bed linens, like fluffy blankets and super soft sheets.

Keep a comfortable collection of pure cotton, flannel or linen PJs or gowns.
