The small narrow-gauge railway between Zell am See and Krimml (54 km) is ideal for guests enjoying winter sports. Every hour it takes cross-country skiers and winter hikers to picturesque places, cross-country and winter hiking trails in the Salzach Valley.
Especially in combination with the 200-km-Pinzga cross-country trail it offers ideal possibilities: After a comfortable train ride in one direction you can cross-country ski, skate or hike back. A ride through the fantastic winter landscape to the National Park Visitor Centre in Mittersill or to the frozen Krimml waterfalls is also a unique adventure.
