It has been a busy year for us at the

South Centre, and we would like to

thank you for being apart of it.

On behalf of the Management & Staff

we would like to wish you and your

Children’s Christmas Party

This is for children who have been associated with South

Centre throughout the year of Primary School age and under.

On Wednesday 18th December 2019 1:30 pm

Filled with entertainment and a visit from Santa around 3pm

Cost $2.50 per child or $10 per family of 4 or more

Names and ages of the children to be into

South Centre’s office

by 11th December 2019

Forgotten Cookies

Bake a batch of these low cost forgotten cookies and watch them disappear. Perfect with a cup of tea with friends or they make the perfect homemade Christmas gift. Ideal for making with children.

2 Egg Whites at room temperature

Pinch of Salt

1/2 Cup of Caster Sugar

1 Tsp Vanilla Essence

3/4 Cup of roughly chopped Almonds

3/4 Cup of Chocolate chips

Pre heat oven to 180C. Beat egg whites and salt until foamy.

Gradually stir in sugar and continue beating until mixture holds stiff peaks and makes a glossy, stiff meringue.

Add vanilla, almonds, and chocolate. Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Drop teaspoons of the mixture on the prepared baking tray. Place in the oven, then turn the oven off.

Leave in the closed oven either overnight,

or for at least 3 hours until oven is cold.

Serves 16 (Makes 16 cookies)

Time to make - 10 minutes, plus 3 hours cooling.
