From the Principal Education Week Thank you to everyone who attended our Education Week celebrations. The students thoroughly enjoyed having family members work with them in the classroom and share their learning experiences. The choir, junior and senior dance groups all represented Hobartville PS with pride at both Richmond Marketplace and Windsor Riverview. It is fantastic to know we can take Hobartville students and trust that they behave appropriately as they represent the school. The Gardens The gardens are looking absolutely beautiful. S3C, Mr Coulter and Mr Wall have been working very hard to keep them healthy and vibrant. We have also entered the Hawkesbury Garden Competition.

Please keep little ones away from the gardens and the flowers so they are looking their best for judging. A huge thank you must go to In Style furniture for their donation of the

fabulous terracotta pots and to iPave for donating the pavers for the new path. Please see further in the newsletter for their contact details. It is not a serious illness and is not at all related to the foot and mouth disease that affects animals. It mainly occurs in children under 10 years of age but can also occur in older children and adults. Hand, Foot and Mouth disease is not notifiable. Children with hand, foot and mouth disease should be excluded from school or childcare facilities until their blisters have dried. To help prevent spread, parents should report the illness to the director of the childcare centre or school principal.
