HLA Happenings December 12-19, 2015 The LA seniors will be displaying their end of semester urban design projects in a gallery style presentation on Monday, December 14th from 1:00 – 3:30 PM. This will be held in the hallway of the third floor. Everyone is invited! Please feel free to stop by at your convenience to show your support of our seniors. Coffee will be served. Bruce Bordelon will be speaking at the Indiana Certified Crop Advisor Conference in Indianapolis on Tuesday, December 15. The title of his talk is Grape Production in the Midwest: Opportunities and Challenges. Petrus Langenhoven will be speaking next week, on Tuesday, December 15, at the 2015 Indiana Certified Crop Adviser Conference in Indianapolis. His topic is: Specialty Crops of Indiana: An Overview of Production and Economic Significance. Wednesday, December 16 from 10-11 am, HORT 217 Coffee Hour. Drop in to interact with your colleagues. Graduate Students, this is your chance to chat with faculty. Please bring your own cup. Lori Hoagland will be giving a talk next week at the Indiana CCA Conference in Indianapolis on Wednesday, December 16 titled ‘Building Healthy Soil for Healthy Crops’. Currey, C.J. and R.G. From this site you can Login, download training dates, download training documents, send email for “help” with Digital Measures. Digital Measures Training: Any person with Hatch, McIntire-Stennis, Smith Lever, Animal Health funds must use Digital Measures instead of FAIR to report on their Impacts. Training continues with just a few sessions left. Don’t wait until the last minute! Bring your REEport document to a face-to-face training and you’ll complete your report in the training! CV’s – we are caught up on uploading faculty CV’s into Digital Measures (except for publications). Send your CV to [email protected] if you want us to upload it for you. Send the full document or a 5 year dossier. Publications—Two-step process: We are using Web of Science to update your publications on the web if you had no pubs in FAIR. If you had pubs in FAIR, those are the one’s you’ll see in Digital Measures. When we get your new CV, we will compare the Web of Science/FAIR upload to your CV and fill in anything that’s missing. OR you can go to the Intellectual Contributions portion of Digital Measures and upload your own pubs using Google Scholar. LET US KNOW YOU HAVE DONE THIS SO THAT WE DON’T ERASE YOUR WORK.
