Douglas Ballroom – Our new spacious (4,300 square foot) ballroom at the University Guest House has a beautiful view of the Salt Lake valley and a walk-out patio with a sandstone fireplace. A dance floor can be added to create the perfect wedding event for up to 400 people.

Officers Club – Experience a vintage wedding event in this historic Officers Club. Built in 1875, the Officers Club has served as the social center for Fort Douglas. This charming setting with its vaulted skylight and flexible event space can help you create your own historic wedding day.

Commander’s House – The elegant hardwood floors and original 1875 crystal chandeliers help to create a historic charm for any wedding or rehearsal dinner. The Commander’s House is perfect for smaller wedding events of less than 150 people.

Pierre Lassonde House – This original 1876 home (renovated in 2008) is the oldest building in the Fort Douglas area. It has two parlors divided by a beautiful staircase and the walk-out garden is perfect for a small intimate wedding gathering.

Post Chapel – Walk down the aisle in this historic, non-denominational chapel. Built in 1883, there is a rich history of military weddings performed here in Fort Douglas. Stained glass windows and pew seating for 150 people create the perfect ambience for your wedding ceremony.

Fort Douglas Bandstand – This beautiful outdoor setting in the Gothic Revival Bandstand (built in 1912), with stunning views of the Salt Lake Valley, creates a quaint, historic setting for a wedding ceremony under the stars. Reception for 150

The Grove – Set in the wooded outdoor area between the Post Chapel and the Douglas Ballroom, this shaded grove is a perfect setting for an afternoon luncheon or reception. Seating for up to 100 people make it a perfect spring or summertime wedding event venue.
