Celebration of Marriage Conference Sam & Debbie Wood

Friday, September 25 & Saturday, September 26
Before marriage, couples pursuing a relationship find such joy
and pleasure in being together that they talk for hours on the
phone and can’t wait to see each other. After marriage, as time
progresses, these same couples become so consumed with the
demands of life that they tend to grow distant in their interests
and activities. This conference will address the danger of
potential distance that can creep into your marriage by
explaining God’s unifying purpose for marriage and how to
recognize and deal with distractions that hinder His purpose.
The conference challenges married couples and singles
considering marriage to first find joy and significance in Christ
and then to minister to their partner.

beginning August 5. Dinner will be served at 5:45 free for
children and youth attending TeamKID and Youth. Adults
may choose to eat by paying $2.00 per meal and must sign
up at the Children’s Check-in Counter in advance.

Children’s Choir: Grades 1 – 5
Will resume on Sundays starting August 9 at 6:00 pm.
Next Sunday, August 2 is PROMOTION DAY! If you are not
already involved in Sunday School, this is a great time to
start! There are classes for all ages.
TODAY immediately following the 11:00 am service there
will be a Parent Meeting in the fellowship hall for parents of
rising 6th
- 8th
graders. Parents will have the opportunity
to ask questions and receive useful information as to what
to expect in the Student Ministry.

October Medical Mission Trip to Nicaragua: If you are interested in

Ladies Wednesday Morning Bible Study will start back on August 5
at 9:30 am. They will be studying “The Essentials of Effective Prayer”,
40-Minute Study by Precept Ministries. Susan Spaugh will lead the
class. There will be no homework. All ladies are invited to join us!

Precept Workshop: “Teaching Inductive Bible Study to Kids” will be

Fall Precept Bible Study of “ I Corinthians” (12 lessons) What does
God say about marriage, divorce, remarriage? Tongues? Prophecy?
Love? Giving? Resurrection? Paul addresses these issues and more
raised by Corinthian believers. Men’s and Women’s Class begins
Tuesday, August 18th at 6:30 pm, Hill Rd. CLC. Coed Class begins
Wednesday, August 19th at 9:30 am, Hill Rd. CLC. Cost of
