ATTACHMENT TO TENDER No. 9000059-HA-11604, DATE: 21/10/2009, DUE ON: 06/11/2009.

1. 16. EXCAVATION IN EARTH<=3M16. Earth work in excavation in all kind of soil including soft rock but excluding hard rock upto a depth of 3 m from the existing ground level. The job includes shoring, shuttering, bailing out rain water / sub soil water manually or by using appropriate capacity dewatering pump., ramming the bottom, dressing the sides and bottoms and stacking the excavated earth not less than 1 m from the edge of excavation and then backfilling, spreading, watering and compaction, disposal of surplus earth within / outside HPCL's premises to any unobjectionable place all complete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Any sheet piling required to prevent excessive water seepage to tank area /foundation area will be paid separately as per approval of Engg.-In-Charge Up to 3 m depth

2. 17. EXCAVATION IN EARTH > 3M17. Same as item no. 1 but for beyond 3 m depth

3. 20.SAND FILLING - LAYERS<150MM20. Supply and filling with clean silver / river sand of approved quality in layers of 150 mm each including spreading, compacting by hand ramming and watering etc, all complete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Measurement basis compacted thickness only.

4. 23. PCC WORK-1:1.5:323. PCC WORK : Providing and laying PCC using graded stone aggregate of specified size and down. The job includes machine mixing, providing formwork, MS/plywood(minimum 19 mm thick) shuttering if directed by Engg.-In-Charge, placing, compacting by hand ramming , curing for a period of 14 days etc, all complete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Removing of shuttering to be done carefully without such shock and vibration as to damage the PCC work. For PCC 1:1.5:3 using 20 mm and down size graded stone aggregates. Vibrator to be used whenever directed by Engg.-in-Charge without any extra cost.

5. 24. PCC WORK-1:2:424. Same as Item No. 4 but for PCC 1:2:4 using 20 mm and down size graded stone aggregates



8. 28. PCC 1:1.5:3 FOR DPC28. PCC 1:1.5:3 FOR DPC Providing and laying 50 mm thick DPC in 1:1.5:3 mix with 6 to 12 mm size aggregate and water proofing compound of approved ISI make at the rate of 1 kg per bag of cement . Job includes all formwork, side MS/plywood(Minimum 19 mm thick) shuttering, proper compaction, hand ramming and curing for 14 days ,and supplying/applying a coat of hot bitumen of grade 60/70 on top, all complete including spreading of sand as required.

9. 29.PCC1:1.5:3-GROUT.MS STRUCT.29. Providing and laying PCC 1:1.5:3 mix using 20mm and down stone aggregate for grouting Angles/MS Structurals. Other specs as per item no. 4. MS Structurals will be paid for separately.

10. 30.RCC1:1.5:3FOUND.PLNTH.RET.30. REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE: Providing, Mixing, laying and placing RCC 1:1.5:3 mix with ordinary Portland cement using 20 mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregate including providing and fixing necessary plywood (minimum 19 mm thick)/ steel shuttering , scaffolding, machine mixing, compacting by mechanical vibrators (needle / skid etc), curing, hacking the surface to receive plaster using plastic / PVC sheet of thickness minimum 20micron under RCC, as directedwherever required. etc. all complete. Machine mixing to be done without exception. Rate shall be exclusive of the cost of steel reinforcement, Concrete shall conform to relevant specifications of IS 456:2000 Latest Edition. For footings/foundations / plinth beam / floor beam / retaining wall etc.Superplasticiser Rheobuild SP1 (Napthalene base) shall be dosed in mixing water after 50-70% of mixing water has been added in the mixer machine. The Dosage will be in the range of 0.6% to 0.8% by weight of cement (i.e. 300ml - 400ml per 50 kg. bag of cement) to get desired workability. Equivalent Napthalene based superplasticiser may be used in manufacturer's specified proportions/methods after prior approval of Engg.-in-Charge.

11. 31.RCC1:1.5:3COL.SLB.TIE.CLV..31. Same as Item No.30 but for Column / Tie beams / Chhajja / Lintel / roof slab / stair case / culvert slab etc.

12. 32. RCC1:1.5:3 FOR COPING32. Same as Item No. 11 but for Coping

13. 33.UNDER REAMED PILES-150 MM33. Earth work under pile foundation of specified dia till specified depth using hand auger or mechanical auger as approved in ordinary soil true to plumb, providing M 25 concrete for under reamed piles up to required depth with bulbs as directed and as per IS 2911 etc. complete as per design and direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Reinforcement steel shall be paid for separately. 150 mm diameter.

14. 34.UNDER REAMED PILES-230 MM33. Same as Item No. 13 but for 230mm dia

16. 37.REINFORCEMENT STEEL IS:178637. REINFORCEMENT STEEL Supply ,fabrication, hoisting and placing in position HYSD reinforcement bars conforming to IS1786 -Latest Edition Grade FE 415 /TMT bars of same grade as per detailed drawing and specifications including cutting, bending, cranking and tying with 18 SWG black annealed binding wire complete. The rates shall be applicable for all heights and depths. Payment shall be made as per reinforcement drawings and with theoretical weights only including all authorised laps, chairs, spacers and hooks.

17. 38.BRICK MASONRY:SUBSTR.-NEW38. BRICK MASONRY WORKS Providing and constructing following brick masonry in CM 1:5 using locally available bricks of Class designation 75 (minimum) and conforming to IS 1077:1986 including providing all openings and projections, raking the joints to 1 cm deep, scaffolding, soaking of bricks in water prior to use and curing etc all complete as per specifications. SUB STRUCTURE Providing and laying brick masonry as above for foundation below DPC level.

18. 39.BRICK MASONRY:SUBSTR-OLD 39. SUB STRUCTURE below DPC level: Same as item no. 38 but using old bricks taken out from demolished masonry. Rate includes removing mortars and cleaning of bricks etc. complete. Once the demolition is over, the party has to take out the usable good bricks and stack them properly to enable Engg.-In-Charge to assess the quantity of bricks for future reference and calculation. Once the assessment is made it is duty of the contractor to obtain certificate from Engg.-In-Charge about the quantity of usable bricks available before these bricks are put to use. In absence of certificate no payment will be made. However, in no case the old bricks shall be used without the assessment of quantity and clearance to use the old bricks is given by the Engg.-In-Charge.

19. 40.BRICKMASONRY:SUPERST.-NEW40. SUPER STRUCTURES. Providing and laying brick Masonry as item no. 17 but for superstructure above DPC level including scaffolding.

20. 41.BRICKMASONRY:SUPERST-OLD41. SUPER STRUCTURE : Same as item no. 38 but for superstructure using old bricks taken out from demolished masonry. Rate includes removing mortars and cleaning of bricks etc. complete. Once the demolition is over, the party has to take out the usable good bricks and stack them properly to enable Engg.-In-Charge to assess the quantity of bricks for future reference and calculation. proofing compound as per manufacturer's recommendation. Rate shall include providing necessary scaffolding, chicken wire mesh at all joints of brick and concrete surfaces, with a minimum overlap of 150 mm in all directions and curing complete. No extra payment shall be made for additional thickness if required to achieve perfect line and level. The job includes cleaning, wetting of surface before plastering, curing etc all complete. Required grooves to be formed as directed.

27. 69.MS GRTNG.& ISLAND COVER.FRM69. Providing, fabricating, welding and fixing structural steel in position with angle iron / flats / tees / squares / SHS tubes conforming to IS 4923 : 1997, plates etc as per design and direction given by Engg.-In-Charge for drain grating, manhole frames, gratings ,tree guards, Island Covering Frame etc, as per requirement. Job includes all necessary grouting, supply and fixing of handles, nuts - bolts etc, painting the grating with 2 coats of approved synthetic enamel paint, over a coat of red oxide primer.

28. 72. RCC HUME PIPE, NP3, 450 NB70. Supplying, laying, aligning and joining following size NP3 class RCC Hume pipes of approved make conforming to IS-458 Latest Edition, as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Rate to include excavation to required depth as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge (minimum earth cushion to be ensured) and providing 4" thick and (Outer Dia in mm+200mm) wide PCC 1:5:10 below the Hume pipe as bed, 4" thick fine sand cushion all around the Hume pipe, backfilling, compaction, curing and testing joints against leakage.Rate to include supplying and fixing of required collars and fixing the same by using cement mortar 1:3. All pipes must be new and perfectly sound, free from cracks, cylindrical, straight and of standard nominal diameter and length with even texture. 30. 77. ANTI TERMITE TREATMENT77. Providing anti-termite treatment including diluting and injecting chemical emulsion / NEEM based solution and creating a continuous chemical barrier under and all around the column pits, wall trenches, basement excavation, top surface of plinth filling, junction of wall and floor, along the external perimeter of building, expansion joints, over the top surface of consolidated earth on which apron is to be laid, surroundings of pipes and conduits etc. complete as per specification using Chlorpyriphos emulsifiable concentrate (20%) in 1% concentration or as specified by manufacturer.Plinth area of building at ground floor only shall be measured for payment. The work shall be carried out by a qualified agency as approved by Engg.-In-Charge. Contractor will have to submit 10 years guarantee bond on Rs. 100/- stamp paper for the treatment.

Supply and fixing minimum jet black granite slabs machined cut and polished on curtain wall by providing bedding of cement mortar and neat cement backing of average 20mm thick in CM 1:3, filling of interspaces with black cement so as to match the colour of granite. The slabs shall be preferably cut from the single rock source to have uniform grain structure free from cracks, fissures and flakes with straight edges and perfect corners. The slab should have following minimum dimensions. Width = 0.8 M, Length = 1.2M, Thickness = 18 mm, The slabs have to be fixed by taking services of highly skilled mesons true to plumb complete in all respect. Granite slabs used shall not be more than six nos. In case of increase in no. of slabs prior approval of Engg.-In-Charge shall be obtained. With fixing LOGO supplied by HPCL: Including fixing of logo and electrification for the same. Granite used shall be minimum 18 mm thick.

57. 114.WATER PROOF.-BRICKBAT COBA114. BRICKBAT COBA ON TERRACE Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing of average 100 mm thick as per specifications given. The job includes

Cleaning of RCC slab and applying neat cement slurry mixed with waterproofing compound, providing and laying brickbat coba in CM 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound and curing for a period of 24 hours, laying of 25 mm thick PCC 1:1.5:3 mix with 6 mm and down size coarse aggregate and water proofing compound, finishing smooth, making half round vata at the junction of parapet wall and slab and curing for 10 days. Contractor will be required to submit a guarantee on Rs. 100/- stamp paper for a period of 10 years in respect of performance of waterproofing.

58. 124.ACRYLIC EMUL.PAINT-INTER.124. ACRYLIC EMULSION PAINT (INTERIOR GRADE) Providing and applying 2 coats (first coat with brush and final coat with Roller) of Acrylic Emulsion paint of approved make and shade on all surfaces and heights to give an even shade including primer and compatible putty. All material required for execution of painting work shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturers and shall be brought to the sites in their drums / cans / bags etc with seals unbroken. No thinner shall be used unless approved by Engg.-In-Charge. The paint shall be applied by using brush, roller or spraying as directed. The paint etc shall be applied only after proper surface preparation by removing all dirt, dust, mortar droppings, another foreign matter, loose scale by using brooms, wire brush, sand paper etc as per requirement and direction complete. All holes, cracks, patches etc shall be made good with material similar to that of the surface. The painting shall be applied in specified coats or more so as to obtain the desired finish. If additional coats are required to obtain uniform and smooth finish, the same shall be carried out at no extra cost. The job includes provision of scaffolding using safety precautions, curing etc as required.

59. 125.EconomyEmul.PAINT-INTER.125. Providing and applying 2 coats (first coat with brush and final coat with Roller) of approved shade Economy Emulsion (Bison Super Emulsion of Berger or approved equivalent) paint on all surfaces and heights to give an even shade including primer and compatible putty. General specifications/guidelines given under item no. 58 also to be followed, as applicable.

60. 126.ACRYLIC EMLSN. PAINT-EXT.126. ACRYLIC EMULSION PAINT (EXTERIOR GRADE) Providing and applying 3 coats of acrylic anti fungal cement paint including primer of BERGER (Weathercoat) or approved equivalent make and shade to all the exterior surfaces as per manufacturer's specifications. Each joint in the pipes will be provided with seamless sockets and both the ends of joint will be welded with two runs of weld (root and final) after cleaning the root run. The welding should be thoroughly cleaned of all splatter, slag, rust, dirt & other foreign material by using wire brush, sand paper, chipping etc. before doping. The welding shall be in accordance with IS 816 latest edition using ISI marked electrodes ( AWS A 5.1 / E6013) of approved make. All welding shall have a minimum thickness of 6 mm.The welding shall be continuous and smooth, maintaining consistent proper thickness without any break or pinholes. The welding should be free from all defects. All other specifications and scope same as item no. 379.

201. 395. DEGASSING 9/11KL TANK395. Degassing and cleaning of underground tanks of capacity 9 to 11 KL at retail outlets strictly as per following steps. Necessary excavation and dewatering ,if subsoil water occurs, are included in scope. The work shall be carried out only if Engg.-In-Charge or his authorised representative is present at site: (a) The area will be cardoned off and Caution Signs will be placed around the area in Hindi and English both. (b) Dedicated supervisor, fire extinguishers and tools and tackles shall be deployed as advised by Engg.-In-Charge. (c) WORK PERMIT from HPCL Engg.-In-Charge will be taken. Work SHALL NOT be commenced without issuance of proper WORK PERMIT by HPCL. (d) The tank to be degassed and cleaned will be taken out of operation and all connections, fittings etc. shall be disconnected. (e) The open ends of connecting pipes shall be caped properly. (f) The tank shall be filled up with clean water till brim of the neck top and will be left for 24 hours in the same condition. (g) After 24 hours the water in tank will be pumped into a tanker using ELECTRICALLY SAFE PUMP WITH FLAME ARRESTOR. The water shall not be discharged in water bodies or drainage systems. The water will be discharged at an unobjectionable place by the contractor. (h) The vapour content in emptied tank will be checked using Explosimeter or Gassometer. Authorised person must record that tank is gasfree and fit for entry for taking up cleaning job. (i) As a precaution oxygen cylinders will be emptied into the tank. (j) Cleaning of the tank must be done under supervision. The cleaning shall not start unless dedicated supervisor and standby personnel are present at the tank location where cleaning has to be actually done. (k) The personnel who are to enter the tank shall be provoded with safety gloves, safety shoes, helmets and portable oxygen mask. They will enter the tank only after wearing the same. The pale and scrapper etc. used shall be made either of Aluminium, Brass, Copper or of substances which do not generate spark and do not accumulate static charges.(l) The ladder to be used for desending into tank shall be sturdy and shall be made of either Aluminum or Wood. It will be anchored with tank manhole neck and will be of full height till tank bottom, resting properly. (m) To avoid suffocation and exhaustion, the cleaning will be done in rotation. At any time number of standby personnel will not be less than number of personnel inside doing cleaning.(n) The sludge will be collected in drums and disposed off at an unobjectiobable place by the contractor as advised by Engg.-In-Charge. After removal of sludge complete internal surface will be thorougly cleaned and wiped using cotton waste. (o) After completion of the cleaning, the contractor shall inform the authorised person and the completion date and time will be recorded. If cleaned tank is not to be exhumed, manhole covers will be put and fixed back alongwith fittings and connections etc. complete. In case the tank has to be exhumed also, the contractor shall proceed as advised by Engg.-In-Charge. In either case manhole covers, connections etc. SHALL NOT be placed back into place without prior approval of Engg.-In-Charge.

BROKEN SAND STONE SHALL NOT BE USED AS AGGREGATES. The macadam course shall be laid in two layers of around equal thickness, each layer shall be rolled and compacted. Job also includes constructing horizontal and longitudinal vatas with 1:10 CM for curing, leveling depressions if any in the base with 20mm stone aggregates and coarse sand.

Proper slope to be provided in driveway for easy draining of rain water. Reduced level of the driveway area to be taken jointly with architect before commencement of concreting and after concreting and the thickness of RCC to be checked. Testing of cube, reinforcement steel, stone aggregates, sand, cement etc. to be carried out by contractor at no extra cost. Tubing, ducting, trenching and other necessary embedded items in concrete shall be checked with architect / HPCL representative before concreting.

253. 500. SEAL COAT 12 MM500. Providing and laying seal coat of 12 mm thick with 6.3 mm down coarse aggregate. Quantity of bitumen used should be 19.6 Kg per 10 square meter of seal coat. The job includes compaction by 8 to 10 Ton power roller to proper camber and slope all complete as per direction of Engg.-In-Charge. Finishing should be done by applying a layer of sand in order to fill up the voids. NOTE: All the asphalting jobs shall be started only after stacking bitumen at the site as per theoretical calculation considering the area. The total job including seal coat to be carried out in one go. In case of any delay in laying the seal coat after laying the premix carpet, additional tack coat @ 5.0 Kg per 10 sqm to be laid without any extra payment.

254. 501. RELAYING OF PAVERS501. Laying of HPCL supplied pavers in line and level, as per attached specifications. The job includes supplying and laying sand bedding, compacting using plate vibrator, all material and labour complete. Pavers will be laid at 45 degree to road line in 1 red and 2 grey arrangement. Plan of laying will be developed by the contractor and prior approval of Engg.-In-Charge will be taken before commencement of laying..

255. 502. S/L DRIVEWAY PAVERS-80MM502. Supply and laying of 80mm thick grey / coloured pavers in line and level and approved pattern and shape, as per attached specifications. The job includes supplying and laying sand bedding, compacting using plate vibrator, all material and labour complete. Pavers will be laid at 45 degree to road line in 1 red and 2 grey arrangement. Plan of laying will be developed by the contractor and prior approval of Engg.-In-Charge will be taken before commencement of laying. The pavers supplied should qualify min comp. strength of 47.2MPa and should conform to IS:15658:2006. The party shall have to produce manufacturer's certification on the paver qualifying criteria stated in IS-15658 and limits specified in the attached specification before the pavers are sited. HPCL reserves the right to do random sampling and testing as per IS-15658:2006 to assess manufacturer's certification on qualifying norms specified in the attached specification. The testing charges, if samples qualify, shall be borne by HPCL, else shall be borne by the party.

Work Flow :

Site will be handed over as is where is basis. Sales will be stopped for 45 days from the date of site hand over. During this period the job as mentioned in (a) to (g) and sales building up to plinth level to complete in all respects. Sales to start on 46 th day. Above ground construction activity to continue in balance construction period without hampering the sales. Layout drawing, working drawing of tank installation, sales building up to PL, canopy foundation, pump island, UG ducting, pipeline trench etc. will be handed over at the time of site hand over. Subsequently the working drawing will be handed over with the progress of job. Party to attend weekly meeting at office to appraise the project status.

Bar Chart :

Party shall submit bar chart for above job within 4 days from the date of LOI for approval. HPCL will review and may ask for revision and party will submit jointly agreed final bar chart within 7 days. Payment schedule shall be flagged in bar chart.

Site Records :

Site records will be maintained by HPCL appointed consultant. Party to deposit required document and co-operate with consultant.

Bill Submission :

Party will submit bill with all supporting document at regular interval as flagged in bar chart after attaining job amount of Rs. 8.00 to 10.00 lacs.
