Upon arrival at the hotel, your guests will be greeted with reception drinks in the bright and airy Atrium, an ideal place for photographs. They will then be led into our extravagantly furnished Ballroom, which is truly a site to behold. Seating up to 250 guests, it is a perfect venue for your civil ceremony, wedding reception and evening celebration.
S O P H I A S U I T E
Situated on the 1st Floor and with a capacity of up to 50 guests, the Sophia Suite offers natural daylight and an enchantingly private setting for your special occasion. It features its own welcome landing for a drinks reception on arrival.

With its spectacular panoramic views overlooking Cardiff Castle, the Conservatory seats up to 70 guests and provides a relaxed, intimate setting for your family and closest friends to toast your future happiness

CIVIL WEDDING CEREMONIESThe Hilton Cardiff is delighted to be an approved premises for civil weddings. Whether you are arranging your ceremony for 40 or 200, the hotel is the ultimate venue.
To hire one of our banqueting suites for your special day you can choose from one ofthe following options:
• Sophia Suite (Ceremonies for up to 50 Guests)• Castle/Friary Suite (Ceremonies up to 100 Guests)• Ballroom (Ceremonies up to 200 Guests)
After the ceremony you and your guests can relax with a celebratory drink in a semi private reception area served by our waiting staff. There is an opportunity to have your photographs taken within the hotel or even in the small elegant gardens adjacent to the hotel.
