NEWS FROM THE EDITOR

Thanksgiving has always been my very favorite holiday! Sharing food and making memories that will last a lifetime. Looking through all the ads in preparation for Black Friday. I have to admit I went one time and have chosen to stay home and either shop on-line or sleep. I also love the day after Thanksgiving – the house is quiet and left-overs are plenty. It truly is a time to give thanks for what you have – your family, friends, food, shelter, a job, a place to live and so on.

My favorite Thanksgiving meal is the one we serve at Hillcroft. I wish we had room to invite the people and businesses who don’t know us. It is indeed where Hillcroft’s heart is exposed the most. The people we have chosen to serve know how to have a good time and celebrate this holiday. The entertainment, dancing, awards, laughter and smiles – the whole ball of wax – makes this an extraordinary day. If this will be your first time to celebrate Thanksgiving the Hillcroft way you are in for a treat.

May God Bless you this Thanksgiving and may your hearts be as full as your belly’s.

YEARS OF SERVICE

Thank you for your continued service and dedication to providing extraordinary services to the clients we serve. Few businesses can boast about employee longevity, but few businesses feel as passionate about their mission, values and ethics as Hillcroft.

In order to be an AMAZING gardener we must all be: Devoted: Committed to the long term Adapting to change in all environments / seasons Supportive: Cultivate continued growth through providing tools and encouragement Seeing the potential in all situations Positive: Focus on plants (strengths) not weeds (weaknesses) Sunshine – smile

The purpose of the Gardeners column is to empower staff to recognize accomplishments of their own or their co- workers that benefit our clients, agency and our communities.

Great things happen here on a daily basis so tell me how either you or your co-workers are going “above and beyond”.
