We are still in the time frame for “answers to prayers.” This is the period when the “windows of heaven” are open. LETTERS FROM PARTNERS – Typical of what so many of our co-laborers write, the following message came from one of our partners in Montana: “Please pray same as always: Strength to finish the race standing straight up and strong. I surely appreciate you taking time to write a note. I am praying for you, Jackie, all the team and the ongoing work. May our Dear Lord Jesus continue to bless you and yours. I can sure tell that I am getting old these days. Everything is getting harder, but I am still going, but not too fast. Ha! Still looking up.” And, one of our 90 year old partners wrote: “The Lord audibly spoke to me saying I will be here when He returns.” (I greatly respect her words). HIGHLIGHT OF MY LIFE – Since becoming a Christian in 1969, the Lord has blessed me to see and be a part of so many major spiritual awakenings. I am grateful for those experiences, but the highlight of my life happened when 21 of mom’s friends and family members arrived at my home in Louisville, Kentucky to celebrate mom’s 100th birthday. The tangible presence of God was there from the start to the finish. It was AMAZING! MOM’S UNFULFILLED PROPHETIC WORD – At one of our partner events, Pastor Howard Richardson prayed over Genevieve saying, “You still have a work to do and you will live a long life.” She continued to give out BURNING HUT tracts. In fact, at age 85 she was threatened with arrest for passing out her message in a Fort Walton Beach, Florida mall. LONG TERM CARE – We know mom still has a work to do! Unfortunately because of healthcare changes last year, mom had to relocate. She bravely left her comfort zone and moved twelve miles away to Friendship Rehab and Health Care. Beloved friends,

Thank you so much for your personal notes expressing your love, support, and prayers for High Adventure Ministries and Israel.

She has never complained, but she does miss being home. She passes out tracts, plays the old hymns on the piano, prays for the sick, and witnesses to others.

I STILL HAVE SOMETHING TO DO – When I have asked her, “Mom, do you want to go be with Jesus,” she says, “Yes, I do! But I cannot go now. There is still something I have to do.” She has been able to lead a few people to the Lord while there! She is known as “Happy Day” and we have church there with her and a few others at the dinner table. Together we sing as a choir, “O Happy Day.”

MOM PRAYS FOR YOU – Last month I asked the Lord to show me what it is He wants her to do. Physically, she cannot continue to call, write, or help others. But, she loves to pray. The Book of Acts (19: 11-12) tells how God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul. Handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and evil spirits went out of them. I took the written prayer requests you had sent and she prayed over them. We asked the Lord to touch your lives. I believe the LORD will use these pieces of cloth and hear her prayers for unusual miracles, healings, blessings, grant increase and bring in your loved ones.

A PRAYER CLOTH – This is not something I say in a frivolous way. Mom loves High Adventure and believes that God will use our older generation in a special way. Please read Acts 19:11-12 and, if the LORD quickens your spirit, please request a prayer cloth. She will pray and send you one today.

HELP US IN IRAQ – Let us rejoice together! CBN reporter Erick Stackelbeck’s 700 Club news story brought in new partners to help us usher in the “last days” harvest. Many were stunned to hear about the amazing impact we are having prompting so many to call and help our High Adventure Pastor Maher in Iraq. The only Christian radio ministry in Baghdad, Iraq, is a great VOICE OF HOPE and is reaching over seven million souls in and around Baghdad. The opportunity to impact more people is astounding. We need each other as co-laborers. We will continue to stand with them. We will fulfill our call to preach the Gospel. Don’t be discouraged by what you hear happening in the world today. God is with us!

Your prayers and financial help are crucial at this time.

God bless you,

BREAKING NEWS

In August, The 700 Club television program featured Pastor Maher’s radio station in Baghdad, Iraq. The news segment, hosted by our friend, Erick Stakelback, made mention of how High Adventure Ministries’ partners help them. Erick contacted us and reported on what we are doing at that radio station. With God’s help, we were able to connect Erick with Pastors Feghaly and Maher in Baghdad for the interview via Skype.

Thanks to this news report and the kind comments of support from Pat Robertson, we have heard from many people who have asked to partner with us financially. We spoke on the phone with one new partner in Idaho. They were impacted by the

ministry being done in Iraq told us they knew they must partner with us to help support the pastors there. We also had another partner say, “I knew I just had to help with the work that God is doing in Iraq.”

You can view the full report from The 700 Club on the front page of our website at www.highadventure.org. We are breaking in to our programming on the Voice of Hope with an audio report of this featured program.

PARTNER COMMENTSFrom Idaho – Praise God! Just called in this evening to help support what High Adventure is doing in Baghdad, Iraq. We want to set up a monthly donation. We saw The 700 Club program.

From Indiana – Love you. We have always been a bright and shining star in this world for Jesus.

From Hawaii – Dear High Adventure, After viewing CBN's news this week and your ministry helping Pastor Maher Fouad with his FM Radio station in Basra, Iraq, I knew I just had to help with the work he is doing for our Lord in Iraq. Please use this money to help.

From Iowa – I was recently made aware of your ministries’ involvement with getting the gospel on radio in the middle east through Pastor Maher Foud. I would like to make a donation to this radio project for Baghdad and Iraq. May God's Word be preached to the uttermost parts of the world through ministries like yours!!! God Bless.

GEMS FROM GENEVIEVE...

The Burning Hut

The only survivor of a shipwreck washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stung with grief and anger.

“God, how could you do this to me!” he cried.

Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. “How did you know I was here?” asked the weary man of his rescuers.

“We saw your smoke signal,” they replied.

It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad. But we shouldn’t lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering.

Remember, next time your little hut is burning to the ground, it just may be a smoke signal that summons the grace of God.
