HEXA PP-RCTTM is stronger than standard PP-R, which offers several advantages:

Thinner pipe walls with same outer diameter resulting in a higherhydraulic capacity

Higher pressure resistance at all application classes (ISO15874)

Higher durability even at elevated temperatures

Higher percentage of smaller pipes installation while maintaining sufficient water supply

Fibre glass free: Environmentally friendly solution!

Red Line represents the HEXA PP-RCTTM behavior with respect to pressure and time at different temperatures.

Black line represents the same behavior for standard PPR.

As shown in the graph, HEXA PP-RTM can withstand more pressure for a longer period of time at any given temperature.

DENDRIT SOFTWARE

Dendrit Software (www.dendrit.de) used in com-bination with the HEXA PP-RCTTM pipes and fit-tings will result in an overall saving of material and costs by using a bigger percentage of smaller diameters. Stronger material allows for an 18% reduction in wall thickness, which increases the inside area of the pipe.

The software will calculate the most performing dimensions relative to the engineering needs of any given project (water flow, pressure, tempera-ture...) and could be supplied on demand togeth-er with COES products.

JOINTING OF THE HEXA PP-RCTTM SYSTEM

Plumbers donʼt need to learn a new method or invest in new equipment.

HEXA PP-RCTTM pipes and fittings are jointed with the socket fusion welding process

The method is identical to the procedure used for standard PP-R and is described in DVS 2207 Part 11

STANDARDS, GUIDELINES AND APPROVALS

The SKZ-Testing and Supervisory Guideline HR 3.34 – Pressure Pipe System made of PP-RCT covers the application classes of EN ISO 15874. It specifies raw material requirements as well as the type-, audit-, batch release- and process verification testing.

DIN 8077 and DIN 8078 (Germany) including PP-RCT will be published in June 2007.

ÖNORM B5174(Austria) including PP-RCT in progress.

AENOR (Spain) specifications for PP-RCT in progress.

IIP (Italy) quality mark in preparation.
