Further to m voice mail message, I have just spoken to Michael Rubenfeld, the group's AD, _ "--___ ~_- he claims that they will not be able to stage the festival without our support (and he may be right, they are on a very tight budget). He has just talked to his assistant and she admitted she had not sent the application because she mixed up deadlines - our deadline with the OAC deadline (too bad, . because I sent them two reminders - one in August and one at the beginning of September. .. ). What are we going to do? The group does need us and their programming is excellent.
