The Promise of Life

John 3:14-1614 And as Moses lifted up the

serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have

eternal life.[a]16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his

only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have

eternal life.

John 3:3636 Whoever believes in the Son has

eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

John 5:2424 Truly, truly, I say to

you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into

judgment, but has passed from death to life.
