Helping to break the chain of transmission in the workplace
*
The Healthy Workplace Project
The Healthy Workplace Project* has been developed to protect employees from the transmission of germs in the workplace, helping to keep them more engaged because you care.
Our approach goes beyond basic hand washing to engage and encourage your employees to help reduce the spread of germs in the workplace by breaking the chain of transmission.
A simple sneeze or cough generates germ-laden droplets that contaminate hands and nearby surfaces
Germs are easily transferred directly via handshakes...
Touching eyes, nose and mouth with contaminated hands allows germs
to get inside the body
...or indirectly through contact with shared surfaces

Creating a healthier workplace doesn’t stop at the washroom
Research shows that common surfaces can harbour the greatest number of germs in the workplace. Educating and encouraging employees to Wipe, Wash and Sanitise can help break the chain of transmission. Kimberly-Clark Professional can help you achieve this through the Healthy Workplace Project.
Doors: Wipe knobs often and place hand sanitiser near entrances/exits
Stair Railings: Wipe and clean these surfaces at least daily
Elevator buttons: Sanitise hands and place hand sanitiser in high-traffic areas
Copy stations: Sanitise or wash hands when using common office machines
Conference tables: Wipe tables, phones, etc. before each meeting
Lobby areas: Wipe hard surfaces and provide hand sanitiser for guests
Reception: Provide hand sanitiser in public or common areas
ATM in lobby: Place hand sanitiser near high-use items
Water cooler/kitchen space: Wipe all surfaces, even if they appear to be clean
In the WashroomSoaps and TowelsRegular handwashing with soap and drying with paper towels is the best defence against the spread of germs.
Outside the WashroomHand Sanitisers Placing hand sanitisers in common areas means your staff can kill the germs they pick up in everyday activities before they can be spread.
Surface Wiping Regular use of surface disinfecting wipes help kill the germs on keyboards, desks and other surfaces.
