Help for making payment online using generated online challan

Click on ‘Pay Online’ option from the e-Challan menu to make online payment.

‘Pay Online’ option will open Payment Gateway portal of Directorate of Accounts, in a new Window. Enter the generated e-Challan number and click on ‘GO’ button.

The below forms appear with minimum details of the challan.

Enter the sum of two numbers shown in the image and click on ‘Initiate Payment’ button to proceed with the payment.

For ‘State Bank of India’ Internet Banking option, click on the following highlighted link and it will redirect to the SBI Internet Banking portal for making the payment.

For other banks Internet Banking option, click on the following highlighted link.

Click on ‘Select Bank’ option.

The bank list will be displayed. Select the desired bank.

Click on ‘Make Payment’ button and it will redirect to the selected banks Internet Banking portal for making the payment.

Update Payment Status

Click on ‘Check Payment Status’ option from the e-Challan menu to verify the status of your payment.

The following form appears. Select search Challan option (by Challan Number or Challan Date).

For ‘Challan Number’ option, enter the Challan Number in the textbox and click on ‘Update Status’

button.

Form ‘Challan Date’ option, enter the ‘From date’ and ‘To date’ (e-challan generated date) in the

textboxes and click on ‘Update Status’ button.

The grid is displayed as below as per the ‘From date’ and ‘To date’ entered. We have to click on the

record that we want to update.

After the record is selected, the challan number is displayed in the textbox. Click on ‘Updates Status’

button to proceed.

A pop up will appear for confirmation. Click on ‘OK’ button to proceed or ‘Cancel’ button.

Click here to confirm and update.

A message as shown below will appear, if payment for the e-challan is completed. In case, payment is

not completed for the particular e-challan, appropriate message will be shown.
