GENERAL SYNOPSIS

HannsEisler’s lifewas the storyofexile.ThebrilliantAustrian, Jewish,Marxist composer fled toHollywood in 1938, only to be deported a decade later, an early casualty of theMcCarthy era.Between film scores,hewrote thesepassionate songsofnostalgia,horror and longing, adaptinglyricsbyBrecht,GoetheandShakespeare.Despitehistroubles,thissongcycleestablishedEisler’sreputationasoneofthe20thcentury’sgreatcomposersofGermanlieder.

FREIGHT

Presenter is responsible for round trip freight costs between its venue and Company storage inToronto,Ontario,Canada.WhentheCompany isbookedatmultiplevenuesbacktoback, freightcostsmaybesplitevenlybetweenvenues.Hell’sFuryisexpectedtobeabletoshipviaground,sea,orair,whicheveristhemostcosteffectivegiventhecircumstances.Thefullshowtravelsinone26’truckor40’seacontainer.

TRANSLATIONSERVICE

WhenevertheofficiallanguageofthecountryisdifferentthanEnglish,thePresentershallprovidetheserviceofatranslatorduringsetupandstrike.

In venueswhere this is architecturally impossible, the Presenterwillmake allarrangements for thesafeconveyanceof theCompany’sproperty fromthe truckorcontainer totheaterandbackagainandisresponsibleforanydamagethatmayoccurduringloadandoff-load.
